Dear Sir,
This mail is due to a very distressful response from the Reliance Customer Care Executives. I am a user of your companies mobile number from around 2 years.
I got a call from from the Reliance Telemarketing about a scheme Music Mania on 06 Apr 2011 at 02.11pm from the number +911203032400 which lasted for 26 seconds. I immediately said that I dont want any such scheme. But in the evening on the same day at 09.23pm, I got a sms from 543219 giving some sort of User ID & Password for the Music Mania scheme. I checked my balance & found AS USUAL (because it has happened in the past as well) Reliance has deducted Rs. 30/- balance unnecessarily. At that time, I was not in a position to talk at Cusomer Care.
So on 07 Apr, 2011, I called at 198 to lodge the complaint asking them to refund the balance around 12.15pm. After a long discussion with the Junior Staff, I asked to transfer the call to senior officials. Then the call was transferred to Mr. Aniket (Floor Supervisor), who in the similar fashion refused to refund the money in between apologising about hundreds of times. When I repeatedly demanded the Complaint Number, they refused to give on the plea that it was from telemarketing call & we can't do about it anything. Then I asked him to transfer the call to more senior executive, he put my line on hold & during the hold he disconnected the line after 17:50 minutes of long discussion, PLEASE NOTE that I had not used any sort of abusive language.
After all, I am in no mood to forego the hard earned money. Then I immediately called agian at 198. Then again I got similar response. The call was again transferred from Junior to Senior. This time I talked to Mr. Jaswinder Singh (Floor Supervisor). Again I asked him giving lots of reasons that I never demanded for such a scheme. I said that you can even check the recording of the telemarketing call in which I simply refused to take the scheme. But he said that Reliance do not have any recording of those calls.Then I asked that if you are recording Customer Care calls then why not you are recording the telemarketing calls. I also said that the telemarketing call lasted for 26 seconds. If I have to accept any offer, then atleast I must have listened the features of the scheme. So what is the logic behind accepting the offer in such short span of time. After asking the Floor Supervisor to look the matter empathetically from my point of view, he atleast gave me Transaction Number 2241388029. So the call ended there after 10.05 minutes without any refund of money.
Then I Thought to write to you. Also note that around 3 weeks earlier also I found my balance deducted by Rs.10/-. I thought who has the time in this running world to talk at customer care for Rs.10/-, so I ignored. Then again next week similarly my balance was deducted by Rs.10/-. Then I immediately called on the same day on 21/03/2011 at Customer Care who told me that some Shayari Pack (which was never requested by me) is activated on my mobile & the money cant be refunded due to delay in response from my side. I agreed to my ignorance but I asked them that these things should not happen again. Then the Cusomer Care executive suggested me to activate the DO NOT DISTURB request which is free of cost. I did activated it. And I got the SMS on 21/03/2011 at 3.10pm from 52811 that my DND has been registered vide request number 13085340867 & it will be activated within 7 days.
Kindly note the date of registering for DND service (21/03/2011) & the Music Mania Telemarketing Call Date (06/04/2011). How can they call me for telemarketing inspite of DND service & even then without my approval the scheme has been activated.
Hope you must read the entire mail which is written in painful state of mind. And please refund the money as soon as possible. As we know that smaller the amount aggrieved, higher the compensation.
Hope that situation never occur with me & with anyone else. And we hope that Reliance Care must actually care.
I hope Reliance lives upto the name of great Dhirubhai Ambani & I have no intention to hurt anyone with my words above but these words are FACTS.
