I m Chinmay Pathak unsatisfied reliance customer from Vadodara, Gujarat. My number is 9016990446

I m using this number from around 2 years, i was satisfied with it but from last 1 month they have gone mad, literally MAD. They activated random services on my number like caller tune and other schemes.. Initially they started caller tune on my number, i complained for it and they returned me only part of money saying rest of deductions were correct... What the HELL was correct in that? I've that sms stored in my mobile...

I talked to customer care and he told me that they have returned the complete amount of deduction. Now where the hell rest amount has gone then? I've recorded that call to use it as a proof...

More then that i got sms that i m subscribed to some service, then the next day i got sms that i m unsubscribed from some service. My balance reached to ZERO b'coz of deductions.

Now the story starts, i m tired of all these so i decided to port my number to vodafone and for that i sent sms "PORT 9016990446" to 1900 to get UPC code but i m not getting any UPC code...

I m tired of this cheap cheating business from RELIANCE...

Can anybody help me?

Thanks for the call. And i got UPC code from reliance just withing 2-3 hours after writing post here. Hope i'll get good service from vodafone...

Other then this all. I've not got any call or any other service from reliance since my last complaint for caller tune. I think they'll loose so many customers if they'll continue this cheating business...

Hello sir,

I am posting this complaint on behalf of my parents against reliance GSM connection. My Dad and Mom are having a reliance GSM prepaid connection. for the past couple of months reliance has been activating several services on its own and deducting the amount drastically. my parents numbers are 9014481660 & 9533247755 , both are Andhrapradesh Numbers. My dad had been calling the customer care daily and everytime they say that they have disabled the service and the very next day they get activated. it went to such an extent that they have activated 7 services and daily started deducting 20 rupees. My dad and i repeatedly spoke to reliance customer care people and everytime their response is same, they say they would disable it and it gets activated next day. we have asked the reliance people to activate Donot Disturb service so that these packs wont get enabled but even that went in vain. My dad is a retired person living on his pension and his hard pension money is being sucked by reliance in illicit way. I would request the concern authority to take a strict action against Reliance to stop doing such cheap things to earn money. My parents got fed up and they have purchased new sim card of other service provider as we seriously doubted the effectiveness of MNP with reliance going by our experience. we are lodging this complaint so that if a strict action is initiated then atleast new customers/existing customers would not go through the trauma we underwent. to summarize we have lost almost 350 rupees for the last 2 months over these connection and we are seriously frustrated with Reliance illicit behaviour of cheating/stealing money from customers by activating the unnecessary services.we have been with reliance for almost a 1.5 yrs so we have given ample time to reliance to correct the mistake and when it did not materialize we did not have any other option left but to lodge a compliant against them in this form. please investigate and take action to stop such things.
