R COM has been very unfair and has unlawfully disconnected my connection to the number 7387002238 . This number was ported from Airtel which does not allow porting without the clearance of their dues. Airtel dues were cleared on 10 Sept 2011 by ICICI credit card which Airtel acknowledges. Reliance bill was due on 22 October 2011. On 21 Oct 2011 the services were stopped. Even after paying the required amount before the due date the services were not revived. On inquiry we were told to pay the interim amount till 22 Oct 2011 (actual usage till that day) which was 252 Rs.. Even that was paid. All this no avail. Now they claim that we owe Airtel the previous bill amount. Airtel says no. But Reliance does not accept.
Major problem has been the lack of transparency and openness in sharing information with us. Wrong and erroneous information was also given by R Com stating that the service was disconnected because R Com bill was not paid on time. After payment of the bill for September (Rs. 492), the customer care information given was that the usage till 20th october is to be paid for services to be resumed. This amount of Rs. 252 was also paid. We were informed that service would be resumed in 3 hours. However, after calling RCom after 3 hours we were told that the services were disconnected because Airtel bill of Rs. 1293 was due which was not the case at all. And this information could have been provided initially itself rather than having us pay R Com's own bills.
Given this we demand not only for R Com to immediately reconnect the services. Failing this, they pay us for the damages caused to our business due to their highhanded and unlawful disconnection of the services.
