Hi,

I bought a SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE Phone from the Sangeetha mobile stores(FORUM MALL,Kormangala) on 22nd Sept for Rs. 14,250. On 11th of November my phone was stolen while travelling in bus from Bellandur to BTM layout.My phone was in my Bag,when I got down from the bus my Bag's zip was found open and phone was not in the bag.

Sangeetha mobiles stores provide an insurance for the phone in case of theft,water or physical damage and according to which it claims to give back 90% of the amount if it is stolen within 3 months of the date of purchase.

I lodged the police complaint for the stolen phone on the day of theft and submitted all the documents in the insurance office on 15th of november.Sangeetha people assured me dat i'll get the settlement in 3-4 days.from that I keep on calling the Insurance office and they always respond like approval has not come.whenever I used to call them they always say it wil 2 days more or 3 days more.

And today(9th december ) I called up and they told me that your claim has been rejected because the handset details(IMEI number) are not mentioned in the police complaint.But in the police complaint it is clearly written that I have lost my handset with all the details of how it was lost while they did not ask me the IMEI no of my handset while lodging the complaint and that is not my fault.The bill has the IMEI no of the stolen handset and it can be easily tracked by them that it is actually stolen.Sangeetha people even assured me that they will block the phone so it can'nt be used further by anyone.

Please help me out with this as it was my new phone,I didnt use it for even two months and it is not possible for me to get a new phone.
