    Angry Airtel 3g datacard

    Hi.

    The main reason for me to take a airtel 3g data card is because my wife is a patient and she can work from home if she has a data card with her.
    My data card number is 96770 18930.

    I have bought a new Airtel 3g data card connection on 5/1/2012. They said that it is super fast and I can go for it instead of a broadband. I live in selaiyur near tambaram in chennai. They said broadband network will not come till our area so 3g data card is the best option to go with.

    I activated the same on 5/1/2012 and the speed was very fast. From the next day till date (i.e: from 6/1/2012 till date) my 3g data card is not working at all. Even if it works it takes easy 20 mins to go to a google page and to send a mail it takes 30 mins.

    I have tried reaching their customer care but still there is no response from their side. The customer care numbers are 121, 198 and 18001030405. For this 3 numbers i would have called close to 35 times and still noone was able to give me a proper reply.

    The total money that I have paid is as follows:

    data card - 1900
    activation fee - 50
    Plan amount - 1250

    Total - 3200

    It is not at all a small money and I need this above mentioned amount to be returned back to me.

    Please let me know a way forward!:mad
    Request would be to please look into this and give a solution asap.

    Default Airtel 3G Card connection- hopeless

    Hi.

    I took a 3G Card connection in July. I already have an Airtel boadband connection but wanted a 3G connection so that i can work while travelling.
    Since i am happy with the broadband connection, was hoping that 3G would also give me the same response
    My Card No. is 9972552712. From the very first day since i bought this connection, i am facing network issues. I was told that it would give a speed of 7Mbps, but i wasn't event getting a single signal on the connectivity. I stay in Old Airport Road, bangalore
    I tried calling up the customer care, and have raised n number of complaints, but no one responded to my queries.
    I have even spoken to the Airtel Nodal Officer regarding this and i had mentioned in all my complaints that unless these connectivity issues are resolved, i will not make a single payment
    I even faced lots of issues on the address verification procedure where i was not given any call before verification , and as expected, they used to disconnect my connection as they didnt find anyone at home. I had told them clearly that both myself and my husband work, so give me a call before coming in. But noone did so, and my connection was disconnected twice on address verification basis. I had to go to the customer care outlet to request for continuing the connection,

    Now , since the day i have bought this card, i havent been able to use it a single day. and after 3 months , the connection automatically got disconneted as i didnt pay the bill.
    They are mentally harassing us for payment of the bill else they said they would take a legal action
    I have responded to their mails 4-5 times giving all my complaint numbers and had told them clearly that i will not pay the outstanding unless the issue was resolved.
    Everytime they say that they are ready to waive off the amount and requested me not to go to consumer court .And all the time, they say that they will talk to higher managment and get back to me. I havent still got any calls from them and today they have sent a mail that they have taken a legal action against me.

    This is ridiculous..I have been waiting for their calls from the igher management regarding my complants and one fine day i get this mail.

    I have decided to go to consumer court and take action against Airtel. Please help me with the proceedings
