I have bought a new reliance brodband netconnect + in kolkata paying Rs 1600 for the device and after continuing for 2 months the broadband speed was really terrible as low as 250-300 kbps and after a complaint the cc said that there are some up gradation going on so it will take 10 days to rectify, thus I decided to discontinue as even after 10 days the problem wasn't sorted out repeatedly there was problem with the connection. So I was left with paying a month bill and after getting a call from reliance cc to pay the amount I asked them to collect it and they agreed but no one turned up to recieve the payment but and the connection was barred from the second day of payment failure. Two month later I again got a call as they asked me to pay for two month this time amounting to Rs 2060 to which I asked them the reason for my increased bill and they said as I have to pay it despite the coonection being stopped a month back and the cc informed me that I need to go to web world and give a written request to disontinue the service as this was not informed to me a month back when I first requested them to discontinue.
After all this today the 12th of October I got a call from a lawyer in delhi informing me to pay the amount in complete to which I informed her the above problem and legally I was to pay a 1 month bill to reliance and because of their wrong information I did not pay at web world which was informed to me after increasing my bill for 2 months.
I still have no issues paying the 1 month outstanding bill which I am borne to pay , but inspite that they are forcing me to pay the 2 month bill as they say its their loss.
Sir, I dont understand that we even paid 1600 for a device which remains blocked by reliance which is even a loss for me just because of their poor service and disastarous connectivity so why dont they consider our loss, are we there just to get cheated by these big company.
The lawyer has asked me to pay by friday,that even after a lot of pressure by her despite the request to pay the legal amount due but she just rejected.I hope we can expect some consideration for our end as we consumer are just frauded by these company and just to suffer loss and these company earning big just by frauding with consumers.
