    Default Complaint against Idea cellular/Net Setter Connection

    Hello Sir/Mam
    I have applied for Ideas’s Data Card and obtained a postpaid sim for the same (Sim No: 9088204489, Account No: 1.11929548). I was highly dissatisfied with the internet speed and requested for disconnection after clearing my outstanding amount for the period I used the connection (from 18th Oct to 21st Oct, 2010).
    My application was not accepted by the concerned Customer Care officials and asked me to pay the rental for the following month.
    After which I called the grievance cell and spoke with the Nodal Officer and mailed the same but my mail was not even acknowledged. They didn’t stop my bills and continued charging for the next two months of Rupees 660 per month.
    I again received a notice from the company asking me to pay the outstanding else they would take legal action against me. In the meanwhile they also made repeated number of calls and used inappropriate languages.
    Please let me know if there is any resolution to my concern or whom do I need to contact for the same.

    Default Wrong deductions on A/c of GPRS Downloads

    From past 10 To 15 Days my balance has been deducted unwantedly on account of GPRS download from my service provider i.e Idea Cellular Ltd.
    Two times they have admitted the mistake and refunded me my balance, but after that again on 16-07-2011 my Rs. 10/- deducted wrongly on a/c of GPRS game download.
    Customer care executives are not ready to here my complains, i have made calls to 198 & 12345 Customer cell many times but they after hearing my complain disconnect the phone.

    I am using idea service from past 3 to 4 years but now i find necessary to change the service provider after such an mental torcher.
    My Cell no. is 09785150606.

    Angry Idea Netsetter (Fraud)

    Greetings,

    I bought Idea net setter 3G (954-093-1537) from ConnectIndia. The plan which I registered for was 10 GB (1250 Monthly Rental Plan & 100 Rs. Per month discount from ConnectIndia). I cross checked the Idea website for the plan. It was same. 10 GB was download/upload limit mentioned on the website so I went ahead and bought the plan. On 10th Oct 2011 I received a message from Idea that my bill is 2,143 Rs. Upon checking the statistics I found that I did not use even 8 GB of the limit. Very next day without any intimation my Internet service was stopped. I called up customer care and asked about the same. I was informed that 10 GB was the promo offer and we stopped it. Now you'll get only 5GB and since you have used more than 5 Gb that's why your bill is 2,153 Rs.

    My questions:-

    1) Can you sign me up for a plan and change it within 15 days?
    2) If it was changed why was I not informed about it?
    3) If it was a promo, how long was it applicable?
    4) It was activated on 24th Sep 2010, how come you changed the plan within 16 days?

    Please answer all these questions, otherwise I'll file a lawsuit against Idea for committing fraud and providing misinformation to the customers. (Please note I have all the voice recordings and written document for the 10 GB commitment)
