I had taken a Tata Photon connection with the number 9221188116 on 21st of April 2011. The customer name is Arshjit Singh.
The connection itself was activated a day later.
Despite many requests to the sales representative who said his name was SAGIR., I was not given his office address where I should submit supporting documents.
After several attempts on my own, I found out the address and I submitted the documents on 27th April, 2011 at R.S.Enterprises, Shp No.2, Plot No 54, NCC Compound Gate No 7, Malwani, Malad(W).
My connection was deactivated on Tuesday,3rd May 2011 and on calling customer care, I was told that my documents had not been received, despite having been submitted by me on 27th April - a good 6 days earlier. The sales representative is not responding to my calls. On the one occasion that I got through to him, he was extremely rude and refused to follow up on the matter, saying that a delay by the messenger who collects the documents meant Sagir is not eligible for any commission now and hence has no obligation to help our case. He has been circumventing the issue and has not responded to several of my calls.
I demand that my connection be activated immediately along with reprimand for the sales representative. I demand that my connection vailidty be increased by the number of days it has been deactivated due to no fault of my own.
I will be taking up this issue with the area manager in case of non-action in the next 24 hours and shall ensure that my issue is taken up in the consumer court, too.
I am not sure hwo you think you can get more customers when you treat the existing ones like dirt.
