I run a small promotional staffing service in Delhi. Received a call from Swati, Just Dial (No. 9953274540) in January offering me Just Dial's business leads service. She offered me a Platinum position (The top most position in the categories given to me) for Rs 16,000/-

Mr Sahil (No. 9717396721) visited my place given me the bill (Which shows 9 categories all understood and approved by me, I still have this bill with me) and collected a cheque of Rs 16000/- from me.

It took around 10 days for my contract to get activated and I started receiving calls. I realized the calls I was receiving were not relevant to my business. I visited their website and found the categories displayed their were different from the categories sold to me. I immediately informed the customer support to which they suggested me to email them.

These are the replies they have been giving me on all my emails BUT NO ACTION WAS TAKEN EVER!

"With reference to your mail received, this is to inform you that we could not added or delete any category because you have taken a platinum contract."

"With reference to your mail received, and as per our discussion this is to inform you that we have already forwarded your request to telemarketing executive. We cannot do any changes in this contract."

Ms swati on her calls (I have recorded the calls) have been accepting that there is NO FAULT OF MINE and this is JUST DIAL's SYSTEM ERROR however to correct the things I have to further pay them Rs 5,000 as the prices have been increased now. She is asking more money for the categories already sold to me.

They sold me the keywords and now they are telling me the same keywords are sold to other people because of the system error and if I want the categories back I have to pay Rs 5,000 more!!!

I have tried everything, even visited their office and met customer support but they do not respond at all. Now, I want my money back as Just Dial has not given me even a single rupee business.

Can consumer court help me in this matter? Kindly advice how can I go about this? I have all the emails, their invoice and recorded calls. PLEASE HELP.

Just Dial is FRAUD!!! I can say that Justdial is India's No. ONE FRAUD ENGINE they make Fool.

I do not know what did Mr Sahil fill in the contract on the laptop in fact I was not bothered about it because I had and still have the the ORIGINAL HARD COPY OF THE INVOICE. I wanted the same categories written in the invoice but now you are telling me that those categories do not even exist!!!

What could be a better example of your FRAUD, you sold me something which never existed! To add more to this as per Ms Swati every category was prices on the basis of number of calls received into it. How many calls a category receives while it does not even exist???

The 400 Calls you forwarded me were all crap!

• People call me wanting me organize their PRESS CONFERENCE but THAT'S NOT MY BUSINESS! I do not know where have you brought that category from.
  
• Jobseekers call me asking for jobs, I have sent a dozen emails requesting you not to give me any Jobseekers/ Candidates.
  
• People call me and ask for ANCHOR (Some electronic itom), for God's sake do your people have any mind to differentiate between an electric gadget and a human being who stands on the stage and addresses people on the mic???

Now, you are creating new categories and giving them to me.

1. How many calls do you think these newly generated categories will give me?
2. Will this justify with the amount I have paid?
3. How did you calculate Rs 16,000?
4. What was the price of each non existing category???

I APPEAL EVERYBODY NOT TO DOT ANY SORT OF BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS Or at least do some research. JustDial is FRAUD FRAUD and Only FRAUD!!

Please do not keep writing that the issues are resolved. This is core lie. JustDial has not provided any resolution, after the harassment of months they agreed to give me the categories which were actually sold to me (I have their invoice and all I was demanding for what is written in the invoice.)

As per the telephonic discussions I was told that the categories sold to me did not actually exist so now they have created them.

So, the great JustDial fraud here is :

JustDial sales you something which does not even exist.


Now, they are claiming that by creating those non-existing categories (AFTER ALMOST SIX-SEVEN MONTHS) they have provided a resolution

I was receiving an average of 2 IRRELEVANT Calls per day

Now, I receive a call in 3 to 4 days AGAIN IRRELEVANT. I may have told them dozens times not to give us job seekers. What we receive in 3-4 days a person calling asking for a job referred by JustDial.

JustDial during their marketing calls were confident to provide me most relevant 2 to 3 calls per day. And, yes they said they had understood my business and that they had good call flow of the kind of calls relevant to my business.

Today, they are telling me that they said 100% calls will be given to us and call flow for my business is low. What all these calls are providing me is time wastage. JustDial calls are not adding any value to my business. Let me tell you again I have not received even a single rupee business from JustDial till date.

An investment with JustDial is a TOTAL WASTAGE of MONEY and TIME + Its a great source of mental harassment.

This just dial crooks and frauds should understand if a person is getting response they will not post this type of comments in public domain. First of all this people will somehow collect the money later they will not even bother to address your grieviences .This people are worse than beggars and white caller literate criminals

i am a data card dealers of coimbatore city and i have subscribed in just call service on june end of 2011 in economic plan to get leads from them, but still i didn't receive a single lead from them, while taking the membership the just call executive committed me that you will surely get leads regularly and after seeing this you will upgrade to premium plan also, believing their stories i paid my hard earned money but still now i didn't receive a single lead from them, i asked them about this but no response about i need my money back....every one should be careful from this CHEATERS An investment with Just call is a TOTAL WASTAGE of MONEY and TIME + Its a great source of mental harassment.

I have encountered exactly the same problem as "eventz" has mentioned, except that the fake calls to me have been limited to under 10 since the contract Invoice Number :PX172.X172.110613191108.Q8M72906 Invoice Date:29-06-2011. The keywords have been activated after my first post in this forum (after pursuing for more than 2 months of the one year contract period) and the 5 zones for which the one year Diamond contract was taken are still to be activated. All records have been forwarded to the teams of justdial who are busy committing fraud after fraud, gloating on having Sh. Amitabh Bacchan as Brand Ambassador and coming out with IPO to cheat the gullible among us.

She assured us before collecting the renewal fee "that user ratings in our page at justdial.com will be removed within 48 hours of collection of cheque" but still today nothing happen from her side.

Today she call to our office, at that time I requested her once again to remove the user rating and change your virtual number to our register number but her response to our request is very rude and her tone is like threatening.

So we kindly request JUSTDIAL to return our payment immediately and cancel our contract at the earliest.

We expect you to take necessary action immediately.

Even i have been cheated the same way, I met their Executive Mr. Atul in Nagpur i am mainly into Web Development. I asked for paid listing and he Urged me for Gold Listing explaining that i will be listed in first 3 positions. He asked me to search the keywords from their website and make a list. I did it in front of him, i even have written and email proof of those keywords.

After 10 days i started following up with him finally it was activated after 15 days, but to my surprise they listed me in below keywords

Half of the keywords were not relevant to my trade, just imagine Corporate Banking as a keyword.

I called up their numbers many times to enquire about web designing companies but to my surprise i never received my own company information rather i got other vendors.

When i say them website design or website development their people at call center type it web site design i dont know what bloody sense does this make, perhaps still the day one i understood this will happen so i even opted for these spellings in my first list of keywords to him. but i was not given those keywords.

Month passed i received many inquiries but not of website i received 100+ inquiries of other keywords and 4 for website which were again of no use.

After calling him at my office he spoke to some person in Pune / Mumbai and clarified me that the said categories where i wanted to get myself listed were wrong categories and were created by mistake., i asked him now what? all your executives and website show up wrong categories first to which he said either we will list you here in these wrong categories too else we will delete these wrong categories.

After his assurance nothing happened for another 15 days like this my almost 3 months got wasted then i called him again so he was unable to recall the issue also., after making him remember word to word of my case he made some Pallavi Pathre call me and i explained her the same to which she started defending that you cannot change the catagories to which i explained her i am not asking to change nor i am asking any additional keyword from you i am just asking you to GIVE ME WHAT I HAVE PAID FOR (AS PER KEYWORDS IN MY MAIL)

she assured and i sent her the mail too... but still its another 10 days no revert.

It took me sincere 45 minutes to type this lengthy complaint but my intention behind it is atleast others should not fall prey in such fraud peoples commitment.

I was very much impressed with this co.'s MD's Struggling Story Mr. VSS Mani, how he turned 50K to 250 Crore but today i am sure he is gonna see the same time again if he is having such policies.

To my surprise i found over 200 such complaints of exactly similar nature. I had in the meanwhile suggested this media of advertising to a few friends to whom i personally called up and asked to wait as this company after sales flies aways!

Nothing but a big bunch on Nonprofessional and liars.

What we understand is that there is no proper customer care in Justdial.

Once they got the payment they completely forgot the customer, they don't even listen what we are telling.

I posted the same complaint in Justdial's Facebook wall page. They immediately call us and makes 2 commitments. In which again they fulfill only one and still now no reply for the another.

Also they barred my Facebook account from posting comments in their wall!

The best alternate for Justdial is putting ad in Google ads or SEO's. Which are very transparent and much more cost effective than putting ad in Justdial.

Here after will never put ads in Justdial.
