    Default Snapdeal and Multilink

    Haah!!! Bow to the courage of cheaters these days. SnapDeal tells me that max they can do is refund the original amount that I had paid to book a hotel through them.
    No mention of the frustration, anxiety, trauma, panic and all the chaos that I had to go through. Leave apart another thousands that I had to shell out to get another booking on the spot.
    The case: I book a hotel via Snapdeal on 20th Oct. I pay an initial amount. Then I am forwarded to a company called Multilink Services (MOS). They say I have to pay the balance before they will give me a confirmation in the hotel. The balance payment is made on Oct 24 and I ask that the room be booked for Nov 19. All this is done, I get the booking confirmation. By the way I had gifted it to a friend who was getting married on Nov 19 as his wedding gift for his wedding night.
    On Nov 19 when we go to the hotel, we are informed that the booking has been canceled a few days ago, and money refunded to the ones who had made the booking. Best part is that neither MOS nor SnapDeal Delhi inform me or refund my money till then. Multiple attempts to reach them at that time went in vain.
    As the newly wed couple (whom I had gifted the booking) were with me and it was getting late in the night, I had to shell out a huge amount to get another room in a nearby hotel.
    On Monday when I finally contacted SnapDeal Mumbai and MOS, they said I will be contacted within 24 hrs with a resolution. NO calls at all.. So I call back on Wednesday and again I am said that I will be contacted in 24 hrs... Again no response... Finally I Post my feedback on their site today evening and then later in the evenig I am contacted and said that the best that Snapdeal can do is refund the original money that I had paid them to make the booking.
    No account of the extra money that I had to shell out at the last moment to get another booking and nothing about all the pain and trauma that I had to go throung. Not speaking about Snapdeal's and MOS's failure to contact me on their own to inform me about the booking getting cancelled or returing the money.
    Is there a just legal system in India that will help me out???

    Default Cheaters gonna Hate this!

    Snapdeal had earlier given gr8 services to many customers, but if they are upon this level & not goin to repay the money + the cost of embarrassment in front of others caused due to Snapdeal's irresponsible behavior...they need to be dragged to Consumer Court.
