This is regarding my Tata Photon device number 9212475646. I had raised complaints on following dates -16/09/2011 26/08/2011 21/07/2011 and also I had called Tata customer care no. multiple times to change my plan as my bill amount was coming very high due to wrong postpaid plan.
I was initially using 0.5 Gb plan @Rs 500 and extra usage was being billed at Rs 0.5/MB which was resulting in unreasonably high bills so I made requests to change my plan to 2 GB @Rs 750.
I would also like to bring to notice that the same company offers plans at www . tataphoton . com/tata-photon-postpaid . aspx
like Photon Plus Unlimited @Rs 950 that give unlimited usage to the subscribers at Rs 950 per month.
My bills were
->July bill- Rs 1215 ( for around 2gb of usage) that I paid and also raised request to change my plan
->August bill- Rs 1779 ( for around 2gb of usage) that I paid and again raised request to change my plan
->September bill- Rs 1629
I had again raised requests for resolution of this matter to Nodal officer on 9th October 2011 vide reference no. M5454009, M5464123, M5466487 but they did not provide a satisfactory resolution. Infact after raising complaint, after some days I got mail that that your complaint request has been closed, I don't know how they close it without any resolution.
1) The August and September bill have wrongly been charged as it should have been converted into Photon Plus 2 GB@Rs 750 plan.
2) I have called Tata Photon helpline no. 1800266121 multiple times and requested customer care representative to activate daily usage alerts on my phone to know my current usage but I never received any daily usage alerts.
Through this forum I want to highlight poor service and unethical practices of photon. In my case it is clear negligence and disregard for customer. I made repeated attempts to resolve my issues but to no avail.
