    Angry Tata Photon Plus billing complaint

    Hi,

    Tata Photon device number 9243376131.

    I was using Tata Photon services for almost 6 months was initially using 950 plan which I later changed to 650 plan.

    During these 6 months I always faced a problem of connectivity for which I called customer care several times but in vain.

    Later, I decided to disconnect the services for which I placed request on 30th Oct 2011 by calling customer care they said that it would be done but it was nit disconnected.

    I sent an email to the customer care on 1st Nov 2011 to disconnect to which they replied as mentioned below

    I again called on 4th Nov 2011 to understand the status but the connection was still active I had also mentioned in this call that if they failed to disconnect it immediately I would not pay a penny for the month of November for which they agreed again they sent an email on 8th Nov 2011 as stated below

    I made the payment immediately the same day but still of no use. I again called on 24th Nov 2011 to get the status update but the service was still active for which I requested to disconnect immediately.
    Even after repeated requests they had not disconnected so I stopped contacting them.

    One fine day my father received a call from the CC where they said I need to pay outstanding amount of Rs. 809/- not sure why they called my father's number when they had my contact number.

    I again made a call to the cc to get the clarification had also sent an email to them where they said that it is outstanding amount of November and December. Here, not sure why again Dec month had come to picture.

    Mail is as below

    They again called on 28th Jan saying that I have to pay Rs.809/- after waiving off the unused amount.

    Please note : They mentioned in their previous mail of Jan 22 stating that "billed amount of Rs. 809/- is for the period of 29-OCT-2011 to 29-DEC-2011 for two months, along with the temporary suspension discount."
    and in their mail on Jan 24 they mentiioned that "we would like to inform you that with reference to our conversation, we would provide waiver for the unused rentals and request you to pay the remaining outstanding."

    Here they mentioned that the amount of Rs. 809/- is of Nov and Dec in their mail of Jan 22 and later in their email of Jan 24 they mentioned that they would waive off the unused rentals.

    After this email on Jan 24 I received an email on my father's contact number again on Jan 28 where they asked me to pay Rs 809/- as the amount after deducting the unsed rentals.

    After having a look at the details mentioned above it clearly shows that Tata Photon is a looter.

    I am looking for a justice here. So, request you to please take immediate action against such pillager.

    Please let me know if I you need me to furnish any more details on this.

    I have received a legal notice on 2nd feb 2012 from a lawyer of Tata Photon asking to pay the outstanding amount of Rs. 809/- plus the legal charges Rs. 500/-

    When contacted customer of Tata Photon to clarify on this they said that there is no outstanding amount that needs to be paid.

    Below is the email which I received on 12 Feb 2012 from the customer care of Tata Photon to clarify on this.

    Now, when they are saying that there is no outstanding amount which I need to pay to them then why do I receive a legal notice. This is again a case of mental harassment which should be taken seriously.
    This clearly shows the level of co-ordination between them.

    I request the consumer court to look into this and take necessary action.
