I have had this TATA Photon (9205005767) for a long time now and have been subscribing to the 10GB High Speed Internet Data Plan. The data speed being provided by TATA Photon has been getting very slow over this period. I live in the city of Srinagar and use this device in Brein, Nishat and Karan Nagar area. Most of the time the speed is very slow (rarely goes above 400 kbps). It is only in the late hours in the night (around 2:30 am to about 8 am) that the speed goes up to 1 mbps. Rest of the time, the speed is very slow and sluggish and has been getting worse by the day. I lodged a complaint with TATA Indicom and they called me back today and told me that in the last billing cycle, my usage exceeded 10 GB. However, out of all the 18-20 billing cycles, there are only two cycles when my usage has exceeded 10GB. But, the problem of low speed is not limited to these two cycles. The speed has been slow all the time, even when I am within my 10GB, the speed is slow. I am paying for 10GB of High Speed Internet Data and what TATA BRAND is giving me is a "Dial-Up" speed. It appears that TATA is trying to deliberately confuse the issue of over-usage for 1 or 2 of my 20 billing cycles and linking the speed for all the Cycles to the over-usage in just 2 billing cycles. It appears that TATA is taking its customers for granted and cheating them.
