HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED !!

Hi All,
I'm forced to write that I had the worst experience and I deeply regret that I opted Tikona for broadband service.

On 7th Oct my new connection with conn. no # 1104608925 got activated. Before activation, we were told that the plan we have subscribed i.e. BB849 is an unlimited plan. No one ever mentioned the limit is till 9GB until we reached it. Moreover at times the customer care executive didn't provide proper information.

After using the service for a few days, I got frustrated with the frequent breakdown in service and limited connectivity at times. Therefore I decided to discontinue the service.

On 25th Oct before the renewal of billing cycle, I tried to reach the customer care executive and asked them to take the disconnection request. But in turn they forwarded my call to senior Executive, who didnt attended even after 30 mins of waiting. This pattern continued till 2 Nov, and then I tried to mail and call the Maharashtra nodal office. He didnt reply to my mail till today. Then I sent an email to Appellate Authority, even she didnt reply back till date. What is the importance of escalation to higher officers if they wont reply back or help us in our issues if their peers are not working properly.Finally I called on her number, but assistant picked the call and told me my disconnection, with # 1-2007326744, is in process and connection will be terminated in 8 days. I, then confirmed with them if I had to pay any bills because I have already cleared the previous cycle bill which Rs.582(7th-25th Oct)+ Rs.500(installation charge). As I paid Rs. 1000 at the time of activation, so just Rs. 82 was left that I paid online through selfcare.tikona.in. I recieved a call of executive that people will come at take away the Modem and request will be closed, but no one came to recieve it till date. Recently, I started getting a series of frustrating frequent calls from billing department saying I need to pay the bill for Nov & Dec cycle. I dont understand when the connection is terminated and service is not being used, why should we recieve a bill. This is a sheer fraud that Tikona is trying to put on us. Moreover, the executives are arrogant and violated the basics that to be kept in mind while talking to the customers. When I went to www.consumercourtforum.in, I could find many similar issues faced by other people. So everyone who has came across us fraud should raise their voice against these people. I'm, therefore highly disappointed and feel that I made a worst choice while opting for Tikona broadband services.
