    Default Tikona- The Worst Ever

    This is reference to the service provided by Tikona. On 16th November we decided to opt for Tikona services. We paid 1000 Rs Cash and installation was assured within 48 hrs which they did. However as soon as the installation was done I started facing problems. They promised speed of 2MBps . But the speed was less than 334 KBps. The power adaptor installed was faulty. I called the Sales personnel (Mr. Pramod Dubey) and had him send over a Engineer... He fixed the power adaptor but told me that their network line were stolen and as a result there was no service in the area. I had to wait for almost a week. After a week's wait I decided it was enough and hence called the Sales fellow again. I asked him to disconnect the service and refund my money. I was told to call their toll free number - 18002094276. Calling the customer care was a ordeal in itself since I was put on hold for about 10 mins before I could speak to a human... Here again I kept getting transferred and everyone kept asking me the same questions. I told them that all I wanted was just disconnection of my line.. I was given the following complaint number - 1-20375-66184 and told that the Engineer would come and collect the instrument in next few days. Also I was promised refund of my money by the sales fellow since the connection was not even a week old. Its been almost 2 weeks now and there is no sign of the Engineer. The sales fellow doesn't pick up calls and answers to SMS by saying I have to write to customer service for disconnection... I was under the impression that the line was disconnected after I spoke to customer service the 1st time.....I have emailed customer service as well for disconnection... All I want is my money back....

    I hope some strict action is taken against the network going by the number of complaints that are being registered. I have made sure that Tikona is blacklisted in my apartment complex...

    Hi All Guys out there,

    Please don't try Tikona, They are established fraudsters in the market. The regulator should ban them or else the Public will face more dissappointment and Harassment from them.

    I got his refund cheque but claims that it is wrong.
    Resolution: Convinced customer that the refund provided to him is correct and explained him the complete procedure.

    I am registered user of Tikona and my registered service ID is 1104257160.
    My name is abhishek agarwal and my contact number is 9920838647.
    I had used this connection till Oct and post that i had given the request for closure.
    When I call Tikona customer care for closure of my connection they don't give me any request number and told me that there senior will come back to me however. I had not received any call from any executive and my Oct - Nov bill is also generated without using the connection.
    When I again called the customer care, there executive are very rude and they talk in the sense that we customers are there slaves. I am really irritated with their behaviour and pathetic service which they provide.
    I am regularly putting them the mail Since OCT 18 but received a complaint number only on Dec 5.
    Post that I received a call from there executive that I can shift the connection to my new house and the bill period in which I am not using the connection will be waived since Ii had already given the request for closure but when I called on customer care they denied to do so and insist me to close the connection due to which again closure of connection went into the loop.
    After given the confirmation for closure Tikona they had still not come back with accurate bill to be paid and my connection is still active and they will keep on generating the bills.
    Tikona really lag in the service and have worst customer care Even after putting 15 reminder mail for giving me correct bill amount and closure of connection, I had not received a single reply.
    Even if you call them they speak very rudely and every time tell that will come back in next 48 hours which never happens.
    I consider they must change their ad line
    "We are committed to serve you the best and value your association with us. "
    There is no commitment towards the service.
    I still don't know what amount I am required to pay. I tell their executive that I am ready to pay the amount of Oct-Nov even if I had not used the connection but want the confirmation that my connection will be closed but they are not ready to give the confirmation for that only.

    I am sure that tikona seniors are not aware about all such mesh and that's why posting this thread in favour of all the citizen how are harassed due to tiknoa customer care and also hope my problem will be resolved soon.

    I had done the payment for usages till Oct don't what else i am requried to pay for closing my connection.

    Default New connection Fraud?

    I contacted Tikona through one of their wed ad that says “First Demo, Then Pay. Rs. 499/month & 8000 MB”
    After few days their Representative Rajesh Kumar Shukla contacted me. I told him to check the actual bandwidth available at my place as I did not want to subscribe without knowing this, to this he said that he was not a technician but technician will visit my place after I fill and give the application form. After filling the application form he says that I have to also give a cheque for Rs.1048/-. This I refused first because had to know the connection speed before I subscribed, then he said a postdated cheque will do, I gave a postdated cheque. My application # 50000016162860.
    After few days when the technician did not turn up, I called Tikona customer care and spoke to Naveed he informed me that technician will come only after the payment is received and a customer ID created.
    Next day I again called the customer service and spoke to Kunal asked him cancel my application and return my post dated cheque, answer again was we can only cancel the application after the chque is realized and a customer ID is created.
    I tried to send e-mail in this regard to customercare@tikona.in, nodal.maharashtra@tikona.in
    e-mails to these addresses bounces back, undelivered. Labeled: "----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----".

    I was looking for an ISP to provide me quality services and since there are not a whole lot of service providers in Trichy, so I had only a handful of options as far ISP’s go. One of my friends suggested that I go in for a Tikona broadband connection. I took his advice and bought a Tikona connection, and I am so glad that I listened to my friend and did not go in for the local ISP, because not only did I get quality services but also got free antivirus as an add-on. I am so glad that it saved me from the pain of buying an antivirus. Tikona rocks!

    Next day I again called the customer service and spoke to Kunal asked him cancel my application and return my cash

    Default Customer Services does not exist & even senior executives do not care about business

    Tikona Support and Sales do not care to reply to emails. Support is pathetic and Sales is non-existent.

    Even Senior Executives do not care to reply...

    We have been mailing Mr. Bhat since last 20 days.... but even he is just not concerned...

    Unhappy Tikona Service and Disconnection Problem

    Hi my username is given below is 1101708400. Tikona services has become very bad, Please read my problem below and help solve.

    1)In december I called to complain many times that the signal strength is coming very low in my house (0 to 2 bars) even when i am sitting near the window and my service is not connecting.. Every time i had to wait more than 5 mins to get through technical support. I was told that they are checking the problem from their computer. (I don't understand how it is possible to check online if I am receiving signal in my house). I did not get an answer and customer service put me on hold every time and it got disconnected and didn't bother to call back. No one came to check the problem. Your customer support is become very slow and non reliable. Earlier I used to call you office in my local area and they used to solve the problem in 2 days.
    2) On the 6th-7th time I was told that I need to subscribe to wifi package (I have been using wifi to connect since more than 1year 3 months without paying any additional charge). I am not interested in paying additional charges when it is written in your tariff that i can connect to up-to 5 -8 computers free). I then asked for disconnection and every time I have to tell your customer care about the technical problem above and they are interested only in wanting to solve the problem without understanding. At this point I do not want want to continue your service as I am very unhappy with your company. After many tries one person told me (in 1st week of Jan) to mail a disconnection request then it will be processed. I mailed the same on 13th Jan 2012. Have pasted my mail to customer care below and also attached a screenshot.
    3) I made many calls after this to confirm the disconnection and after 10-12 days I received a call for you asking when your person can come to pickup the modem but No One came to pick it up the next day. I am also not receiving any reply to my mails.
    4)I received a call 2 days ago from Tikona asking me when I am going to pay my bill of Rs 1762.59. I asked why I am being charged this amount as I have already asked to disconnect my account a month ago. The person told me that I have not paid my previous bill so my service has been renewed without my confirmation. I informed that I have not received any billing information in my email or any call from tikona so how am I supposed to pay the bill. Also you website is not showing any invoices. (Attached screenshot). I asked to please waive off the extra charges as I have asked to disconnect my service long ago and am not using your service.
    5) I want my service disconnected (i dont want to specify my problem anymore and want no questions asked) but am being harassed by your customer support. No one is replying to my emails and responding to my disconnection request in a professional manager. I receive daily calls from your customer-care phone no +912241840300 but when I answer someone disconnects every time. The one time I got a reply was someone asking me to pay the bill. I have not used using you service since December. I am also receiving calls asking me if I can recommend family and friends to Tikona.
    6) I am asking the customercare person to transfer me to the manager but everytime i have to specify my problem everytime and always the manager is busy or the person transfers me and it disconnects.

    Please help.

    Please let me know why my account has not been disconnected? Also why I am being charged Rs 1762.59 ?

    I had placed a disconnection request on phone before 12th Jan 2012 and also email 'customercare@tikona.in' for the same. I had also disconnected my modem at that time. After that I received multiple calls after that to confirm the reason and reconsider the disconnection request. Finally after that I received a call asking when your people can come to collect the modem, by the way no one came to collect it. I have also not received any mail with my bill at the time.

    Today I am receiving a call that that my current bill is Rs 1762. Also on the helpline I am being told that my account was not disconnected. Please let me know the charges upto 13th of Jan as I am willing to pay that and subtract the rest. And please reply this mail.

    Hi,

    My disconnection request has been processed and the modem has been collected by Tikona but I have started receiving call from Tikona's Automated System stating my bill amount. I have already stated in my previous complaint that I am being charged by your company wrongly and by cheating. Please remove my name from your system immediately and ensure that I am not contacted by your company in the future.
