This is really a trauma for me that in spite of booking on 20 august 2010 for a journey from Goa to Kolkata on 7th August, I have not got any final ticket for the same. Confirmation voucher for debit of required amount is sent by travelchacha on my email..

From the same date, I am continuously making a call to all tel no which are available on websit, but no one is responding at all.

On 24th July, I confirmed my self from SPICE JET CUSTOMER CARE about my booking status on 7th august from GOA to Kolkata in the name of Amit Kumar and Arti Kumari. They have confirmed that no booking is made on this name on that particular date for that journey..

It is beyond my imagination that what is happening ? These people are so silent after debiting required amount from credit card.

Otherwise, I have no other option but to go to consumer court for such mental torture and harassment.

I cant understand what's wrong with travelchacha. I booked four tickets on 24th of July 2010 but I am yet to receive my tickets. I tried to contact them more than 100 times, they either do not attend the calls or even if the attend the calls on rare occasion they say I'll get my tickets within next hour or by next morning , which is also not happening. They also giving a strange reason that they have some server problem. Which again a bitter pill to digest as Karool Bug in Delhi have server problem for more than 12 days.

This is prue harassment & mental torture. If I don't get my ticket I'll definitely take action by going to consumer court.

ur money is gone. travel chacha is fraud. sanjay bhasin their owner is a cheat. they ave closed their office and are absconding.

travel chacha numbers will go unaswered. they are continuing with their website so that people keep booking and they get money. complaints are already pending with cyber crime cell. DO NOT BOOK ANY TICKET THROUGH TRAVEL CHAHCA. if already booked call airline, u will come to know that these ba..tards have not even booked ur tickets

Dear Friend we are having Franchisee of Travel Chacha.com We had deposited 80000/- in its Bank a/c . But now we are not able to book tickets from this website. Their contact nos in the website are not being responded ever. I think that the company collected crores of rupees in this away and ran away..

i had made booking through travelc chacha from chennai to mangalore on 13 august . my trvael date is on 5 th september 2010 . I have made payment through my credit card . But they have not at all issued the ticket . They do not pick up calls and have not at al sent my tickets .
finally i sent the cancellation for this booking ince they did not issue me the ticket . but they have not at all refunded the money . I mpuchased a seperate ticket for my travel
Does any one have idea how to file a case against this cheap fraud portal in consumer court ? How can i get my money refunded , since the booking is cancelled 10 days in advance of the travel date and ticket is not at all issue ?

Hi Vrinda/All,

I had also booked my tickets from Travel Chacha. For a change I have got something different to post.

After a lot of follow up's with them I have finally got my tickets after 25 days. Just wanna share with you all how to get your ticktes from them.

First thing is if they have not send you your tickets means that they havnt even booked you wid airlines. Same was the case with me. I called up airlines and asked them for booking with my name on my travel date. They said "No booking with this name"..

Even I called up Travel Chacha helpline.. But to no help. Just kept increasing my STD bill..

There were no responses to any of the mails too.

But,then on 26th Aug I send them a mail with a Warning. I asked them to send me tickets within 24 hrs and threathened them to take them to consumer court/Cyber cell if they dont issue tickets. I also pasted a letter in that mail and told them below is the complain letter I will be mailing at consumer court if I do not get my tickets in 24 hours.


You wont believe that mail was replied within 30 mins and read as "Sir, We ensure you to process your tickets immediately."


The next day morning on 27th Aug I had received SMS that my tickets are booked. They send me a mail asking me to check tickets. To add more they even called me up to ask if I have received the tickets and if they were proper.

Its hard to belive such behaviour from Travel Chacha.

So my advise to you all is to do the same thing. Just threaten them of taking the matter to consumer court and I am sure you will have your tickets handy. I never knew consumer court forum is taken so seriously. It rocks!!

Apart from sending mails to query@travelchacha.com also send them to guneshwori.philem@travelchacha.com who seems to be their manager or something. This person had called me and issued my tickets.

I had canceled an air ticket booked via travelchacha.com on 13th June. I confirmed the same with the SPICEJET airline and also with them. That day I was told my money will be reverted to the same credit card I used for booking in a couple of days. Till date I haven't got my money back.
I have been calling them for the last 2 1/2 months to get my money back. But it has been of no use. Everytime I hear that my money will be refunded by tomorrow. But that tomorrow never comes.

Talking to them is a big pain. At first they won't entertain your calls. They won't pick your call. In case they pick they will make sure you call them atleast 4-5 times before even listening to your complaint. Everytime they will tell you to call them again as they are very busy. God only knows busy in doing what. They will keep your call on hold for 10-15 mins to make sure that you get pissed off and drop the call.

This is pure harassment & mental torture. Its high time now. I will have to take some action against them and take this case to consumer court.

Even I have been facing same issue with travelchacha.com portal. I booked my tickets on 9th August and after non-receipt of my tickets till 23rd aug and distict answers everytime from Customer care people I placed a request to cancel my ticket on 23rd Aug. Since then, its been almost 25 days and I havent received my refund yet. And as earlier, everytime I call up customer care people they give different ans. Sometime like the refund is in process and then next day says that the refund is not yet started because of system issues. I dont understand how much does it take to make their system running. Everytime same excuse of system not running cannot be given. I have also placed complaint to their Manager, Business Development. But no corrective action has been taken from his side too. Its been really frustrating to listen the same excuse everytime.
The customer care people are so good that sometimes they even hung up phone without answering the queries or place people on hold forever.
I really want some strict action to be taken again them.

He is a son of a bitch.

Why does not he refund the people's money?????
