We came to Bhitarkanika for a package tour via tour operator Sand & Pebbles, It was a 3days 2 nights tour. However, after coming here, they refused to take us for any tour on Day 1. The tour programme is only for Day 2. For Day 3 again there is no programme.

This is unfortunate for passionate tourists who go to places of interest and then because of gross misrepresentations and false statements by tour operators get thoroughly cheated. The same tour which Sand & Pebbles is conducting is being done in Sundarban in 2Day 1Night at half the cost. We always post good feedback about places of visit in various travel forums. However such behaviour by tour operators make us bad mouth the place to save future visitors from being cheated and thereby create a matter of shame. I regret to say I have to do the same about Bhitarkanika tourism and Sand & Pebbles for cheating people.
