I was relocating to Bangalore from Mumbai, I booked Pioneer packers & movers, Vashi for relocation of my household goods. They have note delivered my Washing Machine, Piano, Rack and few more items are missing. I have Builty and their packing slip. I also asked them to get it insured, they did it but it was a basic insurance, which covered only accident. Now, I want my goods, I have blocked his remaining payment of 7000, but he says that he will deliver the goods only if I make the payment. Please let me know what to do. Most of my goods like Almirah, Bed are damaged badly, my crockery is broken and my Table parts are missing without which its of no use.

I told him that I will lodge an FIR, but he says I can go ahead.

I have got signed from the driver who delivered the goods with his DL number that the items are missing.

Please help me and let me know how to proceed and claim my loss.
