    Thumbs down Hotel USA Paharganj

    My family alongwith my brother’s family checked in hotel USA on 1st Nov’11 at 7:00AM. On our arrival the receptionist had some argument with our rented taxi driver regarding some commission which we were not knowing about . We were left waiting for almost one hour until their argument was over. We booked two rooms for one day and told the receptioninst that we may check out in evening on same day if our train tickets are confimed. Due to some unavoidable circumstances our plan changed and two persons from our group had to stay in night. In evening we asked the receptioninst to settle the bills of one room and told them that the second room will be vacated in next morning by 5:00 AM. But the receptioninst refused to let us stay in one room and insisted to vacate both rooms even our booking was for one day i.e. upto 7:00 AM on 2nd Nov. In spite of our repeated request the hotel staff rudely refused to let us stay and told that they have already booked the rooms from evening. We asked them to make some alternate arrangements but they asked for rent of one more day that too for shifting us to another hotel. Since we would have stayed for less than 24 hrs, we were not convinced for such arrangement. Above all the receptioninst and hotel manager started arguing very rudely with us and threatened to teach us a lesson if we complain about their misconduct. The whole episode was very surprising for us and we left the hotel with very unpleasant experience.
    Now about other things of hotel - The hotel rooms are very untidy and dirty. Bathrooms are horrible. Services were very very poor. Some construction was also going on in the hotel and the whole floor was looking like a construction site. Hotel manager treats the customer as if he is obliging them by letting them stay in this hotel.
    Now the good part of staying in this hotel- Do stay here if you want to know what is really a bad stay. After experiencing this hotel you will love to stay anywhere even on footpath which will always be better than staying in hotel USA.
    I will rate this hotel minus ten (-10) on the scale of five (5)……..

    Yes the staff is really very unfriendly.... never ever dare to stay in this hotel.It will be a nightmare..We thank god for not getting a chance to stay here because we did'nt check in there after talking to receptionist who was acting as the owner of a five star hotel.
