Makemytrip's fraud with package tour

I booked a package tour with this fraud 3rd rate travel broker. First day I laned as per the itenary and there was no one to pick us up from airport. (the price was immeiately hiked as I asked for 4 star hotel accomodation, that is fine) but read on...

- Call Makemytrip --> No one picks up the call.
- Finally call the number provided in voucher --> that is some 3rd rate shady taxi organizer --> he sends a car what ever is available at that time which is with the following qualities.
>> The doors do not close properly,
>> The seats are wet (dont know for what reason) when I complained, the driver says adjust in the front seat.
>> when it moves you feel that you are sitting in a concrete mixer

- Call makemytrip and bring them to their notice --> answer "yes sir they do not have a decent car in this segment )Indigo), if you want the orgnaizer can provide Innova and it costs 5000 more". As we have already wasted 2 hours waiting for the car, we agreed to pay.

-- No innova arrived for 2 more hours, --> call the shady local organizer , he says, he made a mistake when committing with makemytrip, actually it costs 6000. hmmmmm I said ok. and agreed to pay at the end of the trip

-- The hotel provided in Delhi was some cheap guesthouse, makemytrp told me that they actually change dthe hotel when I asked something closer to CBD so that we can do somethings on our own. But this is in some place god knows where... (I will post the details in my review on other sites)

- Enter Rajastan --> the driver stops the vehcle and says pay 3000 now or the car wll not move, as he needs to pay towards roadtax. I reminded him that we agreed to pay at the end of trip...but no use.

- Enter Destination: God knows where the hotel is, we drove almost 30 km away from Destination then comes in the middle of no where some under construction building where one floor is partially completed, that is my hotel booked by the fraud makemytrip

- Call Makemytrip nd explain the situaltion --> Answer comes "Sir we will make sure that they change the room --> but they have just 4 rooms (I even still can't believe) --> called again makemytrip -->disconnected

-- makemytrip disconnected my call twice

-- So I choose different options on the phone to reach "Others" section of the makemytrip and explained my problem --> the person says my call has reached dmestic Airline booking :-) nice way of escaping.
and he said that he will inform the customer care (I laughed out loud as "Customer care ")

- finally i had to spend few morethousads to book another hotel. (waste of time and money)

My suggestion is never book any package tour with makemytrip.

MAKE MY TRIP HAVE BEEN VERY DISAPPOINTING AND FRAUD

I had booked my Tickets in the hotel 'Mark and Meadows' at Shantiniketan. The Booking ID was NH251831086574 . I paid the amount of Rs.9093 as well by credit card. I called up the hotel at Contact Number: 9331263157 ( which is given at my Confirmation Booking Voucher ) as well. The hotel informed me that they do not have any available rooms since last 2 months and are really surprised at the confirmation given by Make my trip. The bnooking hence stands invalid with respect to the situation. The booking was for 24-dec-2010 ( Check-In) and 27-dec-2010 ( Check Out) in Shantiniketan ,since this is a festive time there so no other places can also be booked due to non-availability of rooms in other hotels. Hence,it leaves me no other option but to unfortunately cancel my plans to visit. I even called them up at 1800-102-8747 but it always says that 'due to heavy network calling ,lines are busy ' which is preventing me to cancel as well.

I feel really bad and disappointed at such a fraud of Make my trip and would like to take cosumer care actions against this as definitely.
