Dear Sir,
The correspondence the make my trip people had with me on 02.07.10 & my reply to the same are given below for your kind perusal. My humble suggestion is that the amount unnecessarily I have paid my pocket(Rs 6979/-) should be reimbursed to me either by Indian Airlines people/Make my trip authorities.This point I am saying based on the fact that the flight I have missed from Chennai is due to the delay in flight from Trivandrum to Chennai by Indian Airlines.The fault in make my trip is since they have done this booking, they should redress my grievance. This matter I have brought to your notice on 12.06.10 itself and no satisafactory reply has been obtained .The details that has been asked has been promptly replied by me.Hence I once again appeal to your goodself to make good of my loss as it is long due. Everybody washed off their hands & nobody helped me.I was really panick and was running here and then.Finally I booked online IA ticket and flew to Delhi. It was a horrid day and as a layman I did not get any justice from anybody and even solace or comfort words from any quarter. Hence kindly do the justice to me. Dear Mr. Kumar,
Please note that as communicated to you earlier, the schedule change for your flight was informed to you well in advance and unfortunately, since you were a NO SHOW, the airline cannot offer you a refund for your ticket. Regards, MakeMyTrip Care |

My daughter flew from LAX to J.F.K., however, her plane had to circle for 45 minutes before landing, which caused her to miss her next flight to Rome. She was scheduled on Grecian Cruise and was suppose to get on the ship at Venice - they missed the ship because the mix-up in the flights and her luggage was never rerouted. She missed two stops of her cruise and was without luggage for the entire time. On the way back in Venice they found their luggage in the unclaimed luggage dept. When she called the airport in Venice they said they did not have her luggage. How does she get reimbursed for her miserable trip. Also she flew 1st Class. Help!!!!

...... Please note my worst experience with makemytrip.com as follows. ...... I have recently purchased a round trip air ticket (Mumbai – Kolkata) on 8th December 2010, Wednesday from makemytrip.com. Booking ID is NF251212022062. I have done the payment by my debit card. Though I have filled up the booking form with correct required details, I received tickets with different name. Immediately I contacted makemytrip.com office. Their official person assured me the correction within 24 hours. Dejectedly even now after 5 days there is no response from them. Hence recently I contacted them once again and to my surprise this time another female executive told me that makemytrip.com is not responsible for this blunder. Although she acknowledged that the system is facing some technical issues but nothing can be done for this goof-up. Moreover I was really shocked when I she told me that now correction in name can be done at the cost of Rs. 2000, which obviously should be bared from my side (customer side). Finally I had no options but to spend more 2000 rupees to save my travel. This is clear cheating case. My sincere request to all of you is to share this with all your friends & known ones. So they can not be a part of such cheating incidence. I have barred more amounts to keep my travel, but let’s make sure no one else end up with the same story. I am attaching all the mail chain and relevant documents for your all reference. Please don’t use makemytrip.com and be the judge - yourself on this case! I am still wondering whether it was my mistake to keep trust on makemytrip.com |

On 01/05/2011 i have booked a train ticket through tatkal (e-ticket) for my father at that time the waiting list was 79 and at the time of traveling received a sms stating that the ticket is confirmed and when my father travel , the TT ask about the ticket and he gave the print out of e-ticket which was generated through system and TT told that this is not a valid ticket and he didn’t travel as TT didn’t allow him to travel without a ticket...Pls refund the amount which was deducted from my bank account.
