It happened with me like this; I had to travel by road on 11.06.2010 from Bhusaval to Thane (412 km). I was informed that there is a A/C VOLVO Bus for Thane at 6.45pm. Expecting that we will reach early to our destination I booked a ticket for A/C VOLVO bus by paying Rs 600 /- per person. I was told that bus will leave by 6.45 pm for that I should report by 6.30 pm., We waited for A/C VOLVO bus till 7.00 but on 7.15 a person of the Manish Travels asked us to board on a ordinary bus which will take us to Jalgaon, from where A/C VOLVO bus is available, Helplessly we boarded the bus. However a stop ahead from starting point, bus driver started picking local passengers un-authorisely. The bus reached to Jalgaon at 8.00pm. there we were told that A/C VOLVO bus will start at 8.30 pm for Thane however the bus left Jalgaon at 9.45pm, shattering our plan to reach thane early. Bus driver of this bus also started picking up unauthorised passengers on the road till Nasik by collecting Rs 100/- or more per passengers by bargaining.
I felt cheated as co passenger travelling with me by paying just Rs 100/- where as I had paid Rs 600/- and lost my 2.30 hours between Bhusaval to Jalgaon and travelling this lap in a ordinary bus.
So I suggest to avoid Manish Travels.
