Hi,
I had travelled on Kallada travels from Koothattukulam to Bangalore on a Volvo multi axle. The bus had a major breakdown at approximately 10:30 pm somewhere near to Palakkad. The driver did not know what to do. He said that he only knows how to drive the bus. He said that the mechanic will come from Ernakulam in one and a half hours. All the passengers had to wait till 4:00 am (5 and a half hours) for another ordinary bus which was going to bangalore which had some remaining seats. As all of the passengers had to reach their destinations all had to board the bus including me. Till 4:00 am I did not see any mechanic. The second bus that had come was and ordinary sleeper which already had people in it and in some of the spaces 4 people had to adjust which was intended for two. My question is should'nt these operators have an extra bus and should'nt they refund a percentage of the money which has been paid. I had to sit with a lot of luggagewhich was not mine. the time taken to reach Bangalore was another 7 hrs. The advice that I would like is can I proceed legally . If yes then how to proceed
