Hi All (Please excuse me for my English),
This is Ch. Ravi Shankar a friend of mine was recently posted form Ahmedabad to Hyderabad. So he just wanted to courier his bike back to his home town Bhilai. He booked the courier form Ahmedabad to Durg station which is near to Bhilai but the courier was not boarded at Durg station instead it is boarded at Kolkata station. Now the Railway officials are asking him to port back his bike form Kolkata to Durg. What was really pathetic was the response of the Railway officials. When we asked them about their negligence they just told us to lodge complaint where you like and nothing will happen and they were also warning that if you don’t port back you bike soon then there is no guarantee of the condition in which you will receive your bike. Now thing which is concerning us is that what is the guarantee that this time around the courier will be ported to it desired location. Can some one just tell what can be done in this regards, any suggestion will be of great help.
