I HAVE BOOKED railway TICKET online through the website IRCTC on 03/02/2010. The price of ticket was Rs. 569/-.
The amount is debited 3 times from my bank account and only credited once instead of 2 times. I have contacted customer cell and complaints and i have mailed the scancopy of my pass book with the payment detail at care@irctc.com but only complaint number is given and yet solved my problem as 5 months are gone.
The complaint no. is IRCTC #1141377
Please do needful as I m in trouble since last 5 months.

I am astha, a regular user of irctc. As i am a student and work in noida i book tickets 6times in a month. I canceled transaction id-0284354795 and 0286908424(pnr-8250354038 and 8250597146 resp) but money is not yet refunded. I am very annoyed with such a poor service. i was booking 2 seats on the train amarkantak express (12854) dated on 14th july 2011 but the transaction failed and furthermore now the status says that booking in "not available" for that particular day in that train kindly resolve the error!!!

On 2nd Sep 2011 I booked a ticket for Chennai to Bangalore Tatkal - Amount Rs 841 has been debited from my credit card but the ticket has not been booked. The bank authorities say that the transaction has been approved by IRCTC . Approval code 207657. Whom to approach to get the refund?

This website has become an utter waste and it kills our time. Most of the times , the site become unresponding in the mid of operation.The session timeout facility automatically logouts us for every 4 minutes. So we have to again log in for the transaction to complete.
I think the problem is , the server is not capable to handle the high network traffic.
for last 3 times, i have tried the whole day for available tckets in irctc and finally got waitlisted tikt from the countr.It is not helping anybody, but making fool us.

i try to book tickts from guwahati to vijayawada through tatkal kota.i am connected to the site at the time 8.00.28 even i got 55 waiting list in takal kota.total seates are 150 alloted for tatkal kota .even a person books three tickets per second the maximum bokked tickets wiil b help me e 84 or 100.please help me to complaint aginst this fraud.

Today i was trying to book a ticket from panvel to uduipi in Matsyagandha train. i was sitting in front of PC from 7.55 am to book, however i was only able to access to website at 8.26 a.m. and to my suprise status was 28 waiting list out of 155 tickets available in TATKAL.

I feel that there is lot of corruption in railway, otherwise how so much tickets are booked when website is down. Insider from railways are with local agents to earn money. Agents sell this tickets at double price.

PLS STOP. Indian Railway is very prestigous one, and all we INDIANS are proud of Indian railways. But all this will lead to downgrading the reputation.

I have tryed to reserve the ticket from Howrah to Puri at HWH PURI EXP( Train No. 12895) on 31.10.11 in SLEEPER CLASS. For this purpose I have used SBI ATM CUM DEBIT CARD of A/C No. 20083646185. But the transaction was failed and the following message came to my My Transaction

this is the worst website in the world.. the session expire time is very low ... 4 minutes.. once again it was prooved .. the GOVERNMENT web site ha ha a.. worst govt and worst railway department.. during the time booking tatakal let the govt announce that tatkal wiilbe allowed at counters only then people will not become fools by sitting before the systems... waste site in the world IRCTC..

I booked E-ticket through my user ID on today dtd 05-11-2011 at 11.15 A M for PATNA JN to NEW DELHI by using my credit card . As per the SMS I recieved transaction of the cost of the ticket Rs 3220.00 was made on my credit card but the ticket has not been issued due to some problem -as I have been intimated by the WEB SITE.

I request you to look into the matter and take steps to refund the amount at earliest.

I book 7 tickets from Chennai Egmore to Dindugul in IRCTC on 8th Nov 2011 using my PNB Credit card.
After i entered my Credit card details for payment, I got an ERROR message on my screen saying some problem occurred during Transaction process.

I received a message in my phone regarding a Debit of Rs. 524 on my creditcard for payment made to IRCTC, but When i checked my booked history in IRCTC, No history is available regardingany booking for my journey to above mentioned destination. The amount has been charged but ticket has not been booked.
I request you to kindly refund the Amount Charged i.e Rs. 524. I would like to hear from you regarding this issue.
