    Default Complaint against Central Railway

    Dear Sirs,
    On 24th May 2010, I travelled with 7 of my family members from Mumbai to Coimbatore in the 3rd AC coach of 1013 Dn Kurla - Coimbatore Express. The PNR number of our tickets were 8140463175 and 8527574537. Of the 8 tickets booked, 7 were in the B-3 coach and 1 was in the B-2 coach. Despite having confirmed tickets we were surprised to note that all our side berth seats viz. 40, 48, 56 and 64 in the B-3 coach were occupied by RAC ticket holders and their contention was that we had the right to occupy the berth only and not the seat. We were surprised at this rather quixotic logic being given at us and approached the TTE to help us in this regard.

    Far from being helpful, the TTE (Badge no. 239, name plate was not legible) of the B-3 coach was rude, abusive (his comment was " Tum Ko Dimag Haain Ki Nahin") and uncooperative. Not only was his beviour bad, he flatly refused to give the complaint book, loudly shounting "Jo karna hai kar lo".

    Needless to say we had a very uncomfortable journey unable to occupy our confirmed seats throughout the long journey.

    I would like the Railway authorities to answer the following questions:

    !. All other fellow travellers who have confirmed berths, have access to both the seat and the berth. How come inspite of paying the full fare for all our seats we were not allowed to occupy our legitimate seats?

    2. How can a Railway Official like the TTE use abusive and rude language with a passenger?

    3. How can the TTE refuse to give the passenger the complaint book and talk nonchalantly about the same?

    I would expect an early response from the Railways on this matter, failing which I would be forced to escalate this matter to the Consumer Court.

    This is to bring to your notice that people getting down at Thane Station are facing major problem, because all the platform bridge towards Kalwa station are narrow and small and there are huge crowd getting down by each train passing by. During these peak hours of morning fight take place. I think the central railway is waiting for the STAMPED TO TAKE PLACE IN THANE STATION. PLEASE CONSTRUCT WIDE AND LARGE STAIRCASE AND FLYOVER.

    Thumbs down Mobile charging problem

    I m trvling in samapark kranti from bangalore to delhi in sleepr coach,all the charging points in all the sleeper coaches are damaged and staff charges rs 20 to charge each mobile from evry passenger as a bribe.in some trains like ajmer mysore express they ask for rs 50 also.     Red face Central railway ticket issued superfast train

    Dear sir,

    I am regular traveler weekly on monday from shahad station to pimpri station by deccan express .The ticket charges for this route is rs 40/- for GENERAL class.

    But on 29-10-2011 i have asked ticket issuing authority to issue shahad to pimpri by deccan express but the booking clark has refused and told me i can issue only superfast train (Indrayani expss.) time 6.38am from kalyan tickets for the above route.She has taken rs 49/- instead of rs 40/-

    so i request to you that i want this money back immidiately.details of ticket as follows:

    TICKET NO. 5859027 DATED 29-10-2011
    UTS: 95ADA9E214
    TIME : 6.20AM

    so i request you to give me back rs 9/- which has taken extra.

    Default station master misbehaved with me

    Sir,
    i just go to railway sation(edava) for taking id card also i want to take new season ticket.firstly he started to misbehave with me & started to scold me with bad languages.I lost my purse, my id card & ticket are in that purse so im went for issuing new ticket & id card on 26-2-2012. he didint give me ticket & came outside from his chamber ,he just came like to attack me.What's the indian railways shows to the public?,Is they serving or cheating public?. Please take a action against railway station master in edava.I thik he is a new post in edava.
