Respected Sir,
I am a frequent traveler by the Rajdhani express. The quality of service in these trains has been degradeed that i now avoid going by trains altogether.The quality of food in Rajdhani Express is just pathetic.I used to frequently travel in long distance trains such as Trivandrum to New Delhi Rajdhani Express.Do they think the passengers traveling in it are just worth of their degraded standards??The food course menu doesn't change, not even for once during the whole trip.Never, even when asked for, water bottles are delivered (not even one per day.May be they can get money by selling it somewhere outside).I had to buy water bottles for me and my family many a times from outside.Cleanliness remains just another question unanswerable.Its pity that they charge so much money for such a inhuman service.Like most of the government services in India, this too lies in peril. On 1st August in Rajdhani 2432 was the worst experience of my life in train journey.
These are my few complaints against Indian railways,

1. Behavior of catering staff was pathetic, they behave rudely and some time use abusive language on asking for extra meal.

2. Quality n quantity of food served in Rajdhani exp. was very very poor, unhygienic, not up to standards . Food given in all 3 meals was so less in quantity that passenger have to starve in journey or buy food from the station vendors.

3. only 1 news paper was given between 4 passengers of B6 53,54,55,56.

4. Asking tips for the service.

4. On asking for mineral water bottle the catering staff have shows the railway policy that only 1 bottle water is authorized for 20 hrs journey and total 2 bottles of water was given for journey of
36 hrs from Delhi to Bangalore, for extra bottle of water u have to pay 12 rupees per bottle

IF A PASSENGER HAVE TO PAY FOR WATER IN RAJDHANI EXPRESS, THEN WHY SHOULD WE BOOK TICKET IN RAJDHANI.

according to medical book of harrison '' MINIMUM REQUIREMENT OF WATER FOR A ADULT HUMANE BODY IS 3 LITERS, AND IN RAJDHANI EXP. ONLY 1 LTR WATER IS GIVEN IN 20 HRS,
WHICH CAN GIVE RISE TO POTENTIALLY LETHAL MEDICAL CONDITION -- DEHYDRATION, HYPOGLYCEMIA AND PASSENGER MAY COLLAPSE DURING SUMMER.''
IS IT MEDICALLY AND MORALLY RIGHT ?

RAJDHANI EXPRESS IS PRIDE OF NATION BUT BECAUSE OF SERVICES PROVIDED IN IT MAKE US ASHAMED OF CALLING IT AS PRIDE OF NATION.

SO ITS MY HUMBLE REQUEST TO INDIAN RAILWAYS TO PLEASE UPGRADE THE STANDARDS OF RAJDHANI EXPRESS.

All these complaints are logged in complaint register with train superintendent so please take appropriate action.

My dear friends !

Never never travel in rajdhani express, super fast and super bad.
We travelled from hyd to b'lore with my aged mother.till 10.30 food was not served.
Having checked many times 10.45 food comes.lousiest food in the world.train is very very dirty including the toilets.at 11.15 after serving food i was fast asleep very hungry ,the food was so bad that we coiul'nt eat.the server wakes me up and was asking for service charges.i told him we are paying for the food,railway is paying you for the lousy services and top nof that u r asking us,just get out i told him.
Next day something called tea they served, i cant express it.
My mother she travels a lots, but never seen such a train service so dirty that too in ac class.
After receiving so much complaints also why cant you take some action and rectify the complaints,you dont see customer satisfaction only money is seen.
Such a costly train also.
I am very sorry about our indian railway service.

Pathetic Service and Horrible expiriance. Siome travelling long distance by these trains should carry food from some where else. If you eat the food given in Rajdhani you will become victim of food poison... Fares are nearly equal to Airfare and service third class and even bad than that..... Ministers are just enjoying money in the form of tax and high fare but not even service of 10% is given......Some times feel ashemed of ourself and the way forced to live in...... Very cheap...

We travelled by Rajdhani from Nizamuddin to Trivandrum and was the worse experience, especially when you consider the time and distance you have to cover. The staff was absolutely pathetic. Food served was not eatable. They didnt even serve everything that was on the Menu. The first day we received the same food for lunch and dinner exactly the same chicken and paneer dish for both lunh and dinner. When asked the reply was chicken is chicken, cant be changes. The main dishes are served by weight but the chicken piece has no flesh on it, just the bones, they choose the worse possible pieces to serve the passengers, keep the rest for good restaurants.
No Jam availabe with bread and butter next day, even though mentioned on the Menu, when asked they said they ran out of it.
Rudest staff I've ever seen, the passenger sat next to us dropped his tray by mistake, the catering staff was standing there he said "kaha kaha se aa jaate hain, ek tray bhi theek se nahin rakh sakte" and didnt even offer him food. He was too shy to ask and just ate some snack he brought with him.

When I asked for some coffee I was told, we'll see if there is some Hot water available, didnt even bother to come back for an hour and when I went to ask they said there is no hot water available. They wont even give another bottle of water, one every 20 hours and max. 2 for the whole journey even though the journey was approx. 46 hours.

Horrible with safety, they blocked both the doors next to our seats and kept their stuff piled in between, imagine an accident or fire breakout in the train, people will die because of these stupid catering people who know nothing else but to come and ask for money and tips.

Can someone please take a note of this and do something about this. Once onboard you dont have much of options.

I got my complain registered with the so called catering manager, who was evasive of registering my complain at the beginning. A litre of water for 20 hours, extra bottle at Rs.12/-

Rides on my Royal Enfield are more comfortable & satisfying that the sick Rajdhani Express!

respected sir, I am travelling in New delhi to patna rajdhani express in AC 2-tear.my coach number is A5.some people on birth number 43/44 are drinking wine and railway staffs are serving chicken and wine to them.They seem to be politicians.I dont know where should I complaint when indian railway is providing such facility in the most renowned train....I am not mentioning my birth number becoz I know that, instead of doing action, they will harass victims.......totaly hopeless....
