I m a student of IT BHU and a bonafide and proud citizen of
Kolkata and India.
I was travelling from Belgachhiya to Chandni Chowk. The fare of which is rupees 6 rupees or zone two ticket.I told the ticket clerk that I would get off at Chandni Chowk.He was preoccupied with the ticket machine for which I,at the time did not care naturally, he simply took Rs 4 and gave me zone 1 ticket.I wasnt aware that the CC station is a zone two station and naturally thought that "All is well"

When I got off at CC the ticket machine wouldnt let me pass by.I was interrupted by a plain clothes person who asked to follow me.
I asked him repeatedly , that what is the problem.But he didn’t say anything.Moreover later I realized that he was drunk.
I had no reason to worry because naturally it just seemed like a minor ticket problem.
But he took me to the Station Master of Chandni Chowk who was very rude to me
And demanded Rs. 252. I tried to explain but he wouldnot listen.Not only he was extremely rude but also was not letting me speak or explain. I sat there for about 1 hour
Which was punctuated by police threats from them as I was a petty criminal.
At last after much ado and harassment he split the amount with a fellow passenger.
ALL THIS BECAUSE OF 2 RUPEES DUE TO A LITTLE NEGLIGENCE
I ask
HOW CAN THEY CHARGE ME A PENALTY when they know full well that I am not a petty criminal who daily hitches free rides.
And how dare he speak rudely and insultingly to a person who is known to have innocent credentials.
Not only this has hurt my pride but also hurt my bonafide credentials.
These officials act out of their limits and are a harassment to the common people.
I want due action taken by the CVC to bring these officials to brook.

also on my return Journey I found
that the return ticket was of an older date.
Is this the Metro's way of duping people?
