    Default IRCTC E-ticket refund

    Dear Sir,

    I Booked e-ticket from Kota to Madgaon in GOA SMPRK K EXP (PNR-Number:
    212-5327885).I tried to cancelled it on 14.10.2011 at 10:30 PM but its
    giving message that The ticket cannot be cancelled since the chart is
    prepared and confirmed on previous remote/originating station.still
    the chart was not prepared and its giving following current status:

    I filed TDR for the same ticked but i want my amount to be refunded as
    per cancellation rule because chart preparation time is normally 4
    hour before the train departure from original station.it is deep matter to concern that if the ticket cannot cancelled then who will be responsible for this.
    Please look into this matter seriously.

    Default Misguided

    I received a mail on 4 Dec 11 regarding the "not admissible of the refund" against the PNR NO. 8415904163. With due respect i would like to remind you exactly what had happened on that day. I contacted the customer care on 4 Dec 11 (well in advance as schedule of the train) regarding the procedure for the cancellation of the ticket and refund of the amount as the train was cancelled. And one of the customer care executive said to me that the refund will automatically done in next 72 hrs as the train is cancelled by the railway and the refund amount will automatically transfer (credited) to my account.

    But as even after four days i didn't receive the amount in my account. I again contacted the customer care and at this time the customer care executive ask me to file the TDR as 72 hrs had already been passed from the schedule departure of the train and the refund amount will be credited to your account with in next 90 days.

    I file the TDR as instructed by customer care executive. In reply of that TDR i had received the reply for non refundable of the amount.

    As i am totally misguide by the customer care executive on this issue. I want you to look in this issue so that any positive fruitful result will come out of this.

    kindly look into this matter.
