Hi,

This is Gagan goswami. I am using IRCTC user id for IRCTC log in..
Today I got a mail that I claimed false TDR claim. How can it be possible. I claimed for PNR No:-2518685281 for JAN 2009. This ticket is booked for my mother and she did not travel. Somehow I was not able to cancel the e-ticket so I claimed TDR for the same.
So if the person is not travelling then how could it be false TDR. Even though I did not got any refund for the same.

If T.T.I. sold this ticket to anyone, then what can I do for it ? Where is my fault ? Even though I did not got any refund for the same.

Now today I got this mail:- It is noted that the following user-id gagan08 PNR No:-2518685281 has been filed by you for TDR through online mechanism. It is informed by the railways to IRCTC that in all these cases person have travelled and still claims for refund are filed. Please inform the reasons for this fraudulent
activity on your part. You user id has been temporarily deactivated now.

Agar meri mother ne is ticket par travel kiya h to unke wapas jane ka b to koi ticket hoga(even any flight history) kyunki wo 9th may 2009 ko hamare sath wapas aayi thi.to wo wapas b to gayi hogi.

Phir hamare liye TDR facility ka kya benefit hua.

I am attaching the letter sent by the TDR Team to the concerned railways, below for your information. It is alomst 7 months now from the time I have filled the tdr but still I did not receive any refund. The tdr details are:
Tdr file date - 11th April 2010
Forwarded to railway on - 19th April, 2010
Total ticket charge - 5634

Dear Customer, Sorry for the inconvenience.Kindly note that your refund case of PNR No.4115922292 has been forwarded to CCM/SER Railway on 19-Apr-2010 .We have already issued Reminders on 04-Aug-2010 to concerned railway to chase up the case.But despite reminders refund is yet to be received from the concerned railway.Now we have sent another reminder on 29-October-2010 with all the papers pertaining to your refund case to concerned railway to chase up the cases. As soon as refund, if any, received it will be credited to your card account.
