Sir,

I regret to lodge my complaint as under:
I have still not received refund of the sum of
Rs.750/- towards cancellation of E tickets booked on 04/08/2010 under
PNR no.:8532775969, Transaction ID 0237160094 and cancellation filed
under TDR on 05/08/2010.

Though more than 8 months are over (five months
more than maximum period of 3 months), I have still not received
refund of the said cancelled tickets.
I have sent several reminders by email at etickets@irctc.co.in, but am not receiving any acknowledgement/reply nor the refund.

I think it's high time someone filed an application under RTI act, to make the IRCTC do their duties properly in responsible, and stop harassing the customers.

Why we the consumers of Railways services, demand some competition in this sector, like we are having in other fields like airlines, banks, road transport etc.
Why should the government have monopoly over rail services.
