I have travelled from Bareilly to Delhi on 28th July 2010 from Kashi Vishvanath Express. Before boarding the train, i went to Amul Dairy Shop at Platform No.2 at Bareilly Jn. to buy flavoured Milk and asked the rate. The vender told to pay more than Printed rates for the same. He denied to give the milk on the printed rates. I went to the station master's office but none was present there to sort my problem.
The same thing happened at Anand Vihar Jn at 23rd July when vender was dimanding Rs.35 against the MRP.30 and denied to give the same on MRP saying that he was selling the products as per instructions of the contractor.
No only this, the packages water provided in Varanasi Garib Rath does not keep good quality. Why don't they provide rail neer when this is better than those of low quality waters provided in the train.
You are therefore requested to look into the matter and take appropriate action against such people who are deceiving the travelers and cutting gold in such ways.

I was travelling by Shramjeevi Express recently from Buxar(BXR) to New Delhi(NDLS). When the train reached at Varanasi (PF No.5), I went to purchase the falvoured milk from the Amul shop and a water bottle. The vendor charged Rs.2/- extra than the printed rate. When enquired about this, he showed me a list of all the people (GRP, RPF, etc) who take things from him without any payment, so he adjusts this payment into the items selling to the common passengers.

Now, why the common passengers bear the brunt of paying for the corrupt officials (which today every govt. department is).

Please look into it. This is the case at almost every station except New Delhi.
