I booked an E-ticket in Tatkal having following details.
From:- Rajkot
To - Secunderabad
Date of Booking :- 22.01.2012
Date Of Journey:- 23.01.2012
Date Of Cancellation:- 22.01.2012
Train No.:- 17017
Train Name : RJT SC EXPRESS
Class:- 2 Tier AC
Amount Paid:- Rs. 1883
PNR no.:- 8165169199
Status of Ticket:- Wait list and then Cancelled
Transaction ID is 0446225968.
Passanger Name- Lalit Virpara
The ticket was booked in Wait List. So I cancelled the ticket because it was in wait list. Now as per IRCTC Rules, the refund must be given to me.
After 7 days of waiting, I talked to so many persons from IRCTC Customer Care regarding my refund and they told that they have booked a complain and the refund will be given to you.
I also have sent an e-mail to etickets@irctc.co.in & care@irctc.co.in regarding my refund but they replied that at the moment of cancellation of ticket, the ticket was confirmed a second ago and due to network error you were not able to see that the ticket was confirmed.
Further I did not received any communication from IRCTC regarding confirmation of my ticket either by mail or by sms.
I need your help to get my refund (Rs. 1883) whatever percentage I should get.
Sir, Please help me in this matter.
