I traveled from Tuticorin to Chennai. Date of travel was Sep 18-2011. The Train Number was 12694. Train Name Pearl City. The Coach No. was HA1. We have spent around Rs. 2565/ for 3 passengers (2Adults and 1 Child). The entire 3 berths was full of Bed bugs and termites, Cocroaches and even rats were running inside. My son age 6 didn't sleep at all as the Bed bugs bite very badly and we were sitting killing all of them through the night. Spending so much is only for comfort, but here in Southern Railways in this train we have to sit without sleeping. What a pity for the amount we pay the consequences we repeat.Cleanliness is at the worst as even the bedsheets, pillows and pillow cover were very dirty. & TTis helpless.Pls take action ASAP.
Same thing happened on Sep9th -2011 travel date from Chennai to Tuticorin Train number 12693. Kindly take necessary action. The coaches are not disinfected regularly. So pathatic!
