Dear Officer in charge:
I am a scientist working at Karaikudi and had sent my brother with a xerox copy of my office ID card which clearly has the ID number in it which is very visible.
I planned to travel on sunday and sent my brother on saturday to mambalam railway station around 9am, the person who was issuing tickets was very rude and said the xerox cannot be accepted. So my brother came back home to KK Nagar and then I gave him the original ID alongwith it to show him the ID. By the time he went the tatkal tickets got exausted. So I was in deep trouble and somehow had to travel in many buses to reach my destination.
This is highly condemnable. The person in charge did not care to listen to what my brother said. If the xerox was not OK, then action could have been taken on me when I show the original. The photocopy was perfect and I had around 10 copies made at once and use them one by one when I travel to chennai or back to Karaikudi. This is the first time this happened and I request that action be taken against the person (may be counter 2 or 3) and I be compensated.
Sincerely,
D.Vasudevan
Scientist
