Taxi service from bangalore airport - beware of cheaters

On October 28, 2011, I travelled by taxi No. KA-03-B 3245 hired from airport. From Airport to Koramangala, the taxi meter indicated 79 Km. The taxi charged INR 1,320 from me. I understood later that the charge from airport to Koramangala is somewhere around INR 700. I believe many visitors to Bangalore are being cheated by such taxis. I want strict action to be taken on such taxis and also actions to be taken by the Airport police not to entertain such unregistered vehicles in the airport. I would appreciate if the case can be solved.
