I had booked a Meru on 27th May for someone for 28th May at 10.00 a.m. the passenger received the confirmation no. and the cab never turned up. At 10.05 a.m. she is getting a call from meru stating that no booking was received by them. this was inspite of receiving the confirmation sms and the no. was AE1A54687. the passenger had to undergo a lot of trouble to search for cab and then had to take an auto. Will Meru cab reimburse the passenger for the hassle that she had to undergo?????
Yesterday i.e. 8th June i again booked the cab from Meru for today at 10.30 a.m. for the same person. She never received any confirmation sms from them. She told me to cancel the booking. When i called up Meru for the cancellation, i was told that there was no booking in the passenger's name and asked me the confirmation no. At that time i came to know that the passenger did not receive any confirmation sms.
This is the type of service that Meru gives. The banner states 'RELY ON US'. they should change it to 'DON'T RELY ON US'.
Instead of booking cabs from Meru, we would rather book cool cab. At least the promptness would be assured.
