Easy Cabs in Bangalore are a big disappointment

And why is that?

I have booked Easy Cabs (Bangalore) on various occasions, to be precise 6 times. And not even once has the cab turned up. Either on the last moment they send a cancellation msg or their drivers never make it to pick-up point. I and my husband had booked Easy cab one day ahead of time, for a visit to Passport Office, Outer ring road from hope farm. Since the tokens are distributed really early, we had to reach there by 3.30AM. At 3AM, we do get a confirmation msg along with cab details. On calling the driver he said he will be reaching within 5 mins. Even after 10mins when there was no sign of cab, we called up the driver again but he never answered the call. Helplessly we called the customer service only to be put on hold endlessly. On calling the service center second trime, they promised to send another cab with 20-30mins. Since we had no other option but to wait, we did. Only calling the driver as per the details in msg, he disconnected the call. Third call to service centre and they say our booking is cancelled. My husband and I were in shock. It was already 5 and we were already late enough. With no other go, my husband took a BMTC bus and reached Passport Office only by 6.15AM...way too late putting us far behind the schedule.
On the previous occasions too, Easy Cabs drivers and reps have been no different. Cancellation despite of confirmation msg looks common with them. We had nearly missed our train once. Only when Meru Cabs are not available, we go for Easy Cabs(as the second option, since these are the two reputed companies) but not even once has Easy Cabs proved worthy.

I had a terrible experience with easy cabs..dont know why they are running this service when they really cnt provide..today my sister was just about to miss the train coz the cabs made last minute cancellation..This has not happened to me for the first time,earlier accasions also i have face this problem but some how i made up to my destination in time.today it was so terrible for us coz we reached city railway station jus before 5 mins of depart tat too by booking another cab last minute and were running here der looking for the coach and all.finally my sis got the train but we were not able tp sent her off properly..whenever u make a booking for easy cabs it gives u confirmation but cancels it last moment..you get to know bout the cancellation onli wen u call them wen they dnt show up in the booking time.

Had terrible experience with easy cab twice. Both times the cab was cancelled at the last minute for no genuine reason. The first time they took the booking and informed me at the last moment that the cab they sent broke down. When asked if they could send another cab they said the area that I live in is off limits.

The second time( from Janagar) they Took the booking for 11.30 am and at 11.30 when I called to ask if the cab had arrived they simply informed that no cabs were available at that time and so the booking was cancelled.

I booked a cab well in advance (6 hrs) and got a confirmation from customer care.

However, 20 mins before the time got the following message:

"Due to Technical Error, we are unable to service booking no XXXX"

I frantically tried calling other cabs but no cab is available at 15 mins notice. Moreover traffic makes it impossible for any taxi service to be at the pick-up location in 10-15 mins.

Finally, had to hire two auto-rickshaws with great difficulty and barely made my flight in time.

And this was my second such experience with Easy cabs. Raised a complaint with customer care who gave me a gyan on how they only search for cabs only 30 mins back. Which translates to -" we'll take your booking but only service you if we have free cabs at that time. If we don't - customers can FO."

MY ADVISE - Stay away from easy cabs even if the customer care guys assures you n number of times.

This is the worst cab service provider i have ever seen. All liers and barbers sitting there and won't send the cabs in time or else cancells without intimation. So please don't ever book in easy cabs. This is a worst cab services..
