I had booked the cab from Thane to Domestic airport. The online booking via Makemytrip mentioned that I will be getting a 10% discount on giving the print out of the booking.
Upon giving the driver the print out, he flatly refused and started to argue. I called up Easycab call center, they did not offer any help and said to put the money on the car seat and leave. I wasted more than 30 mins over the phone standing right outside the airport terminal. Finally after much argument the driver agreed to give me 10% discount.
However, found another way to fleece me, he asked me to pay for the toll charges. When I asked for the receipt both he and the call center executive flatly refused. The driver had passed the toll without paying the charges.
The drive only let me go after he took the additional Rs. 30/- from me. I ended up paying the full amount and had to go through all the argument standing for more than 30 mins at the airport terminal.
Later I was emailed a fake bill which had incorrect travel details.
