Sub: Complaint on the worst customer supporting Travels agency

Dear Consumer Forum Team,

This complaint is about the ignorance and the ill treatment of the agency towards the customers, which is as follows:

I have booked a ticket on 12th April'2011, from Hyderabad to Bangalore through a web site called "ticketgoose.com" in AP Tours & Travels. I got the confirmation that my seat number is 12 and the boarding address and the contact details they have mentioned in the ticket are as follows:

Travel Date: 24th April'2011.

Boarding Address: S.R. Nagar Opp: Axon Hospital,S R Nagar , ICICI Bank Hyderabad000000 ¢8801416459.

Boarding Time: 06:50 P.M

As this site is new to me, So I felt that the let me get the confirmation from the agency and I called the number (8801416459), got confirmation on the ticket.

As per the schedule I reached the above mentioned boarding point at around 06:10P.M.

I was waiting for the bus and after ten minutes past the mentioned boarding time I tried to call the agency and the person who owns the number said its wrong number.
So I called the ticketgoose help line number (044-43324337 ) and the person who attended the call gave few wrong numbers and after many attempts I got a number (040-66579273) belongs to Hyderabad Ap Tours & Travels office .

So I called them at around 7:00P.M and they told me that in 10 – 20 minutes the bus arrives and pick me up. But after half an hour (7:30P.M) ……one hour (8:00P.M) …no one had come to pickup and I called them again at around 8:05P.M they said that due to some traffic jam this delay is happening and told me that to wait for 10 more minutes. Around 8:30 P.M I called them again to check whether the bus has been cancelled or what’s happening exactly. They received the call and told that you have to wait for 2 hr or 3hrs whatever time it takes, just stay there and wait for the bus…when I tried to respond to their arrogant behavior they cut the call. I tried again and got the voice message that the connection has been disconnected. I tried many times after that and got the same voice message again and again….

I felt that this is not going to happen and started leaving at around 09:27P.M from the boarding point, that time I got a call from the number 08712143912, introducing himself as the one from AP Tours & Travels and told me that the 06:50P.M bus got problem and told me to reach Nampally to board another bus .

So I started from S.R.Nagar point to Nampally by an auto and reached by paying 70/- just because of the travel agents mistake and boarded the bus at around 09:50P.M.

Those three hours phase was worst and the mental agony I faced was horrible.

The main reason behind why I am writing all this is to take necessary action against such kind of agencies who don’t care about the comfort of the customers and their valuable time. So that in near future no other customer will face such worst situation, mental agony and the extra pay just because of the agency’s worst management.

I hope and request you to please take necessary action against this travel agency.
