TRIP ID 100818899 It was booked on a coupon ticket. Cleartrip says its cancellable but not refundable.
I dont understand the meaning? does it mean, we dont provide tickets and money both? Natural Justice violation?
I cancelled the tickets because on your cancellation page, my refund was showing for some 5000 Rs. If the tickets were non-refundable, why was it showing a refund amount on that page. Since it was showing, I confirmed the cancellations, else I would not have done so.
After cancellation, the money has not been refunded and the status of the tickets is shown as "pending".
As understood from Spicejet they cancel it with an cancellation charge of Rs 750, Cleartrip is acting as a high handed middleman and not refunding the money or reinstating the ticket.
The fault lies in thier website and thier attitude. they think they can run-away with money that the airline has refunded.
By the principle of natural justice, either the ticket can be cancelled or cannot, but I dont believe that any court of law would allow cancellation but no refund!
