Finally we have had to take the matter up to get to the topmost level of Mahindra and Mahindra.
In short, it is very easy for Club Mahindra to follow up with you for a cheque you owe them, but when it comes to living up to the " Sales Quotes" then the consumer has to keep haggling them.And the sales man Vinit Parikh, should be taken to the police station !

I am writing to you as an aggrieved member of the MAHNDRA AND MAHINDRA Family.
I Have A HIGH REGARD For The MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA Company as they have brought pride to INDIA but THE WAY YOUR GROUP COMPANY CLUB MAHINDRA AND ITS SALES POEPLE ARE BEHAVING OULD BRING SHAME TO YOU.
I APPROACH MR . ANAND MAHINDRA AND MS. SANGEETA MAHINDRA AS I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE TORCH BEARERS OF NEW AND ETHICAL INDIA . AND I CAN EXPECT SOME FAIR TREATMENT FROM YOU
THE FOLLOWING IS MY STORY OF RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR COMPANY:
In May this year I was approached by Mr VINIT PARIKH who is the sales person in CLUB MAHINDRA . He came to my house and gave me a two hour presentation –
At end of this he told me that i would have to give 10% of the money immediately – otherwise I would not get the deal
He also told me that it was possible that tomorrow if i don’t want to continue with the MEMBER SHIP then he will RETURN THE MONEY back to me.
Anyways he gave me some offers which again i had to follow up 10 times with him ( he initially promised me SONY LCD , then sent across TOSHIBA and after lots of discussion and 2 months of haggling he gave me SONY ). He has WRITTEN ON THE RECEIPT that he signed that he would be giving me a SONY LCD DESPITE THIS I HAD TO HAGGLE WITH HIM . Also he STOPPED TAKING MY CALLS IMMDEDIATELY AFTER HIS GOOF UP. ANYWAYS I AM STILL A MEMEBER WITH YOUR GROUP(id : 1777109)
Then ONE DAY CLUB MAHINDRA asked me to give reference
I GAVE THEM TWO REFERENCES – MY SISTERS. IMMEDIATELY Mr, VINEET CALLED ME – ASKING ME TO CONVINCE MY SISTERS FOR THE MEMBERSHIP . BEFORE THIS AS I ALREADY SAID HE WAS NOT EVEN TAKING MY CALLS
MY ELDER SISTER PAID VINEET THE FULL MONEY AND TOOK THE MEMBERSHIP.
MY YOUNGER SISTER ON VINEET’S ASSURANCE THAT MONEY COULD BE RETRUNED BACK IF SHE DECIDE TO CANCEL MEMEBERSHIP PAID HIM 69800 AFTER FIRST MEETING( ON PHONE ). SHE WAS GOING BY MY REFERENCE (# 1888929)
HOWEVER MY YOUNDER SISTER Ms. JAYA KALA IS UNDER HEAVY DEBT . SHE IS UNBALE TO PAY THE MEMEBER SHIP instalments – HENCE IMMEDIATELY IN 15 DAYS AFTER PAYING THE AMOUNT OF 69800 REQUESTED FOR CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP
SHE HAS NOT AVAILED ANY BENEFITS FROM YOUR CLUB MAHINDRA COMPANY ( NO OFFERS AND NO VACATIONS) BUT THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO RETURN THE MONEY. INSTEAD THEY SAY THAT THE MEMBERSHIP MUST BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER NEW PERSON BY JAYA KALA. A LSO THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO TRANSFER THE SAME TO MY MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT ( Today I HAVE NOT PAID THE FULL MONEY YET , BUT THEY ARE NOT DOING THIS ALSO ) . THE AMOUNT YOU MUST UNDERSTAND IS MORE THAN ONE MONTH SALARY FOR MY SISTER
THIS IS TOO MUCH – IF MY SISTER HAD TAKEN VACATIONS AND ENJOYED BENEFITS I CAN UNDERSTAND THIS – BUT WHEN SHE HAS NOT TAKEN ANY BENEFIT AND THAT TOO WITHIN 15DAYS WHY DOESNT YOUR COMPANY RETURN THE MONEY BACK
WHY DOES NOT YOUR SALES PERSON MR VINEET PARIKH tell CLEARLY TO PEOPLE THAT THEY WILL NOT GET THEIR MONEY BACK- AND THEY MUST BE SURE . WHY DOES HE PRESSURIZE THEM TO JOIN ON THE SAME DAY .
YOU ARE A CORPORATE – YOU ARE DONATING TO HELPAGE AND ARE GETTING MEDALS AND PRIZES FOR CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY . IS THIS THE WAY YOU SHOULD BE MAKING MONEY – BY FOOLING PEOPLE OF THEIR HONEST INCOME. WE ARE SALARIED PEOPLE EARNING JUST A LIMITED AMOUNT OF MONEY AND THIS IS THE WAY YOU ARE TREATING US.
SINCE I MADE THE REFERENCE I AM UNDER SERIOUS PRESURE . HENCEFORTH I WILL NOT RECOMMEND CLUB MAHINDAR TO ANYONE.
BUT I WOULD LIKE TO APPEAL TO YOUR SENSE OF JUSTICE AND ENSURE THAT MONEY IS RIGHTFULLY RETURNED TO MY SISTER
MS. SANGEETA MAHINDRA AND MR. ANAND MAHINDRA REGULARLY APPEAR ON THE COVERS OF MAGAZINES AND PAPERS AND DEPICT AN HONEST AND ETHICAL FABRIC – PLEASE I APPEAL TO THE BOARD – DO JUSTICE WITH THIS CASE AND PLEASE RETURN THE MONEY TO MY SISTER
