    Angry Club Mahindra fraudsters:: Anand Mahindra company?

    I am a member of Club mahindra. My membership no. is 1888929. I took this membership in May 2010 .I want to cancell my membership now.
    But now I am feeling cheated by club mahindra.
    While selling this membership, the club mahindra executive’s misrepresented the facts and hides some facts to sell the membership. Vinit Parikh is the name of the executive who was ready to do all the work to get the membership.
    He misrepresented us that the offer was available for only that day and we had to choose at that particular time.

    He never told us that 60 percent of the cost of the membership is towards the admission fee that is not refundable.
    This is clear case misrepresentation and hiding of facts.

    I have paid Rs. 69853 /- and now they are telling that if you cancel your membership, I can get nothing as my balance will be negative after deducting admission fee.

    I have taken red studio.
    I emailed then for the cancellation and the refund and they just dont call or respond to any queries.
    I am in serious debt and donot know if I will be able to sustain this loss.

    I am surprised to see Anand Mahindra " Business man of the year " having an organisation that makes business by cheating people. His wife proclaims to be a social activist.. is she willing to take steps against her own people?

    Please help me to get out of this agreement and getting my money back from club mahindra.

    Finally we have had to take the matter up to get to the topmost level of Mahindra and Mahindra.
    In short, it is very easy for Club Mahindra to follow up with you for a cheque you owe them, but when it comes to living up to the " Sales Quotes" then the consumer has to keep haggling them.And the sales man Vinit Parikh, should be taken to the police station !

    I am writing to you as an aggrieved member of the MAHNDRA AND MAHINDRA Family.

    I Have A HIGH REGARD For The MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA Company as they have brought pride to INDIA but THE WAY YOUR GROUP COMPANY CLUB MAHINDRA AND ITS SALES POEPLE ARE BEHAVING OULD BRING SHAME TO YOU.

    I APPROACH MR . ANAND MAHINDRA AND MS. SANGEETA MAHINDRA AS I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE TORCH BEARERS OF NEW AND ETHICAL INDIA . AND I CAN EXPECT SOME FAIR TREATMENT FROM YOU

    THE FOLLOWING IS MY STORY OF RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR COMPANY:

    In May this year I was approached by Mr VINIT PARIKH who is the sales person in CLUB MAHINDRA . He came to my house and gave me a two hour presentation –

    At end of this he told me that i would have to give 10% of the money immediately – otherwise I would not get the deal
    He also told me that it was possible that tomorrow if i don’t want to continue with the MEMBER SHIP then he will RETURN THE MONEY back to me.

    Anyways he gave me some offers which again i had to follow up 10 times with him ( he initially promised me SONY LCD , then sent across TOSHIBA and after lots of discussion and 2 months of haggling he gave me SONY ). He has WRITTEN ON THE RECEIPT that he signed that he would be giving me a SONY LCD DESPITE THIS I HAD TO HAGGLE WITH HIM . Also he STOPPED TAKING MY CALLS IMMDEDIATELY AFTER HIS GOOF UP. ANYWAYS I AM STILL A MEMEBER WITH YOUR GROUP(id : 1777109)

    Then ONE DAY CLUB MAHINDRA asked me to give reference

    I GAVE THEM TWO REFERENCES – MY SISTERS. IMMEDIATELY Mr, VINEET CALLED ME – ASKING ME TO CONVINCE MY SISTERS FOR THE MEMBERSHIP . BEFORE THIS AS I ALREADY SAID HE WAS NOT EVEN TAKING MY CALLS

    MY ELDER SISTER PAID VINEET THE FULL MONEY AND TOOK THE MEMBERSHIP.

    MY YOUNGER SISTER ON VINEET’S ASSURANCE THAT MONEY COULD BE RETRUNED BACK IF SHE DECIDE TO CANCEL MEMEBERSHIP PAID HIM 69800 AFTER FIRST MEETING( ON PHONE ). SHE WAS GOING BY MY REFERENCE (# 1888929)

    HOWEVER MY YOUNDER SISTER Ms. JAYA KALA IS UNDER HEAVY DEBT . SHE IS UNBALE TO PAY THE MEMEBER SHIP instalments – HENCE IMMEDIATELY IN 15 DAYS AFTER PAYING THE AMOUNT OF 69800 REQUESTED FOR CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP

    SHE HAS NOT AVAILED ANY BENEFITS FROM YOUR CLUB MAHINDRA COMPANY ( NO OFFERS AND NO VACATIONS) BUT THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO RETURN THE MONEY. INSTEAD THEY SAY THAT THE MEMBERSHIP MUST BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER NEW PERSON BY JAYA KALA. A LSO THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO TRANSFER THE SAME TO MY MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT ( Today I HAVE NOT PAID THE FULL MONEY YET , BUT THEY ARE NOT DOING THIS ALSO ) . THE AMOUNT YOU MUST UNDERSTAND IS MORE THAN ONE MONTH SALARY FOR MY SISTER

    THIS IS TOO MUCH – IF MY SISTER HAD TAKEN VACATIONS AND ENJOYED BENEFITS I CAN UNDERSTAND THIS – BUT WHEN SHE HAS NOT TAKEN ANY BENEFIT AND THAT TOO WITHIN 15DAYS WHY DOESNT YOUR COMPANY RETURN THE MONEY BACK

    WHY DOES NOT YOUR SALES PERSON MR VINEET PARIKH tell CLEARLY TO PEOPLE THAT THEY WILL NOT GET THEIR MONEY BACK- AND THEY MUST BE SURE . WHY DOES HE PRESSURIZE THEM TO JOIN ON THE SAME DAY .

    YOU ARE A CORPORATE – YOU ARE DONATING TO HELPAGE AND ARE GETTING MEDALS AND PRIZES FOR CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY . IS THIS THE WAY YOU SHOULD BE MAKING MONEY – BY FOOLING PEOPLE OF THEIR HONEST INCOME. WE ARE SALARIED PEOPLE EARNING JUST A LIMITED AMOUNT OF MONEY AND THIS IS THE WAY YOU ARE TREATING US.

    SINCE I MADE THE REFERENCE I AM UNDER SERIOUS PRESURE . HENCEFORTH I WILL NOT RECOMMEND CLUB MAHINDAR TO ANYONE.

    BUT I WOULD LIKE TO APPEAL TO YOUR SENSE OF JUSTICE AND ENSURE THAT MONEY IS RIGHTFULLY RETURNED TO MY SISTER

    Why only when customer has taken so much of stress, Why not they behave ethically in first place and reduce 60% allocation charge to reasonable level.

    Would they listen or keep distancing them self on news print covers while their marketing staff loot customer.

    Angry Cheating case from club mahindra

    Hi,

    I need to raise cheating case from club mahindra.

    I am a member of club mahindra on 2006 - Membership id - 228430.

    Down Payment Details - 190362/- rupees i paid

    again they are asking Annual Subscription Fee Payable every year.

    Without informing me these people lapsed my Inventory for 7 days on 2007 ( Giving wrong information we updated )

    Even they lapsed 7 days leave on 2007 even they are asking me to pay for that year.

    Even they are not giving me to cancel membership and get refund back my money.

    So please help me to handle Club mahindra.

    Dear all, i strongly suggest not to become a member of club mahindra holidays as i have constantly gone through very bad experience such as mosquitos & insects all over the room, cockroaches in the dry kitchenette.

    You can also read the complaints on the net given by many people and they give priorities to paid customers only.

    Club mahindra holidays have prompt service for subscribing & payment collections only, and the rest of your life as a member you will struggle to get a booking. Once you are a member you will not be entretained and your membership will go for a toss. Club mahindra holidays are cheaters & frauds.

    If r. Raju, raja, kanimori , balwa, adag can be in jail, why not a. Mahindra !

    This happens only in india. What tourism and finance ministry is going on this !

    Default Gross Misrepresentations by Club Mahindra Sales Team

    I would like to take this opportunity to add to this discussion. Unfortunately, I hadn’t read this site before I bought my Club Mahindra Timeshare in Aug 2011.

    There appears to be same endemic high pressure selling tactics coupled with willful misrepresentations and then followed by wilful ignoring of complaints. It is abundantly obvious that it is not a particular member of the sales staff of Club Mahindra but every single sales team member using the same tactics to conclude a deal and present exclusion clauses and limiting clauses after the contract is made which is illegal under the Indian law. The time the contract was being made, there was no exclusion or limiting clauses brought to my attention nor was it discussed that there would be 16% compounded interest if I decided to pay in installments or that any part of it was not refundable if I decided to withdraw my membership.

    Despite having documentary evidence in the handwriting of the agent for Club Mahindra (Mr. Imran Qureshi from Hiranandani Estate, Thane) showing the monthly payments without any compound interest, I was astonished to be then presented with a bill requesting almost 50% higher amount for the time share than what was originally agreed. When I sought clarification and wrote a complaint, there was a refusal to address the complaint and I was informed that I would loose my deposit, if I did not continue with these unlawful payments to Club Mahindra, even though it was only a couple of months from signing the contract. Sadly for Club Mahindra, I have still retained the written documentation by their sales representative for whom they are vicariously liable for and they will sadly as a result of ignoring my request for a meeting or written response to my complaints face the consumer courts.

    In the final ****ysis, I agree with others that there appears to be an endemic culture of misselling and misrepresentation (probably due to the commission related payments of the sales staff) and thus a need for retraining of all Club Mahindra sales team.

    It is vitally important that we make as many people as we can, be aware of the sales tactics employed by the timeshare sales team. And perhaps the Club Mahindra board should consider to what has happened to european countries in relation to legislation of timeshares to restrict further abuses of innocent public who are duped by the high pressure selling and false guarantees.

    I don’t think the owners / board know what the sales staff is doing to ruin the company’s reputation. What they don’t seem to realize is that when someone gets a good service they recommend it to 5 friends but when they get bad service they would recommend adversely to 20 friends or more.

    I would request that Ms. Indra has the courage and dignity to give her contact details (i.e. her telephone number) so that those who have been dissatisfied from the service can speak with her directly. Or provide contact details of someone in the organization who has the power and authority to deal with the concerns. If this is not possible then the email addresses of the board members should be made available so that they are fully aware of what’s happening in their name, rather than being ignorant of what their sales staff are doing. If Club Mahindra continues to deliberately frustrate people seeking to complain about the service they have received, this will only lead to further frustration and leave no option but to pursue a legal process. All it takes is one case to be successful in the consumer court to bring this bad practice to an end.
