    HI

    I made booking with GOIBIBO on 27th November 2010 through HDFC credit card at around 1 AM in the morning. At the time booking price(for Jetlite) was showing is : Rs 29383. After doing the transaction , the tickets were not booked but my card was charged for the booking. The worst condition , GOIBIBO is not having any helpdesk to operate in the night to help us in booking during night in a failure situation. I have waited till morning and when I contacted them , they have treated us very badly and told that either we have to pay 7,000 Rs more for the a different flight booking or we have to take the refund back. The reason they have given is that there are no seat available in the same flight (Jetlite). We have contacted the Jetlite customer care during night time after failure of our transaction. They have told us that seat are very much avilaible at the same price which was deducted by GOIBIBO , when we were doing the transaction (around 1 AM). They also told us that there are chances of price hike in the morning. The same happened in the morning , when GOIBIBO tried to book it.

    Still the amount is not refunded into my credit card account. I am feeling like cheated as I have to pay another Rs 7000 for booking of the flight next morning. If GOIBIBO would have checked the avilability before deducting the amount from my credit card, this would have not happened. Even if they would have had the customer care working in 24/7 , this would have not happened.

    Please take it up with GOIBIBO. first of all, my debited amount should be refunded and
    2nd, they are responsible for my loss of Rs 7000 , which I have paid extra for booking the ticket next day. They should also consider this and give me conpensation for this, as they have blocked my amount for whole night without giving any confirmation , whether the tickets can be booked or not, which results in fare rise next day morning , when I booked with some other agent.

Please be informed that the refund of INR 29383 has already been processed from our end on December 1st 2010. The reference number for the same is 29383.     Hi Goibibo team

    1st of all , still the amount is not showing up in my account and its almost 6 days completed from the date , I have asked for cancellation (27th Nov,2010). My credit limit is almost exhausted due to this.

    2nd point : When I have tried to booked the tickets through Goibibo site (total 9 tickets) on 27th Nov,2010 early morning 1 AM. At that time the tickets were available in Jetlite Airways on the same fare (as confirmed by Jetlite customer care). If the support service would have available 24/7 or site would have given intimation/ error that they are not able to book the flight on the amount which they are refering on their site at the time of booking. I would have have taken some other options imiediately and saved my Rs 7000. If Goibibo is not able to book the flight for the amount mentioned on their site, its the problem with their site and not with me. According to me, I have loose Rs 7000 just because of Goibibo site and Its should be refunded by them. I should not be the person loosing due to problem in Goibibo site.

    3rd Point : When I had a conversation with the Goibibo staff in the morning regarding the failure of booking . They have showed very less interest in solving the issue, rather than that they were intested in gaining more money.They asked for Rs 7000 more for booking different flight(INDIGO),althogh the cost of the same flight(INDIGO), was showing Rs 2500 less than that what they were asking for booking in thier site and even in YATRA and MAKE MY TRIP site too.It means, they were trying to fool me up and gain more money. When I have asked them to check for the options on one day before and after, they were not having proper status of the seat avilability in the flights.Hence , I was forced to take the option of cancellation (the amount 29 K is still not showing up in my Credit card, hence due to this I am facing problems in planning my holiday travel plan).

    Goibibo should give proper justification to all of these points and also provide me refund of the amount , which I lost due to this( in whatever form they want to do that).

    Its the blunder of my life time that I have tried booking with goibibo. I will suggest each and every seeing this site not to use goibibo site.
    Reasons :
    1: My Refund is still not reflecting in my account. They are blcoking the money. today its 7th day from the day the transaction was cancelled.
    2: They don't respond at all , when you talk about your refund.
    3: Their floor manager is always away from the floor, whenever you call them. So the customer support team work without any manager.
    4: The customer support team will treat you as a person as if we are asking for some advance salary from our boss, when we just ask for our refunded money.

    This all things I have finded out when just now I had a conversation call with Goibibo customer care personal.

    If there is any responsible person in Goibibo and you have any recordings of the calls the customer care people are having. Do hear those and find out the quality of service you have....
