Sir,

This is to inform you the casual approach of make my trip airline booking. I booked a ticket for my family from New Delhi to Kullu in Kingfisher airline for 14th October 2010 on 1st September 2010 through make my trip site online giving my husbands e mail id. The ticket was a refundable one and the refund rule given in the said site was Rs 500/- for cancellation and Rs 250/- for make my trip charge. When I saw the e ticket the cancellation fee for my husband is Rs. 750/- and for all of us Rs.3300/- per head. It gave me tremendous pressure to contact both kingfisher and make my trip to get a confirmed statement and I had wasted half a day for it. When I was trying to cancel the ticket online the price was RS. 9900 (for three person) + 750/-.Upon enquiry make my trip has informed that the cancellation charge is Rs.750+ 250 make my charge which was no where mentioned neither in my ticket nor in their site as cancellation rule. How they can do all these ambiguity and trouble the common citizen of India. Had not been I contacted these people and tried to cancel my ticket online I would have paid Rs 9900+750/- instead of Rs 4000/- as they claimed. Why make my trip has not updated the site and given false information to me regarding cancellation charge. I request you to kindly look into the matter and refund me all the excess amount they have taken other than what they mentioned in the site as cancellation charge and also troubled me by giving false value in my e ticket and given all mental agony. I would like to know how make my trip justify for taking the service booking and canceling the ticket. They were just directing the person to contact airline. I request that all the service charge may be withdrawn from make my trip in this regard. A case may be filed under consumer court. I can submit all the document which I had saved in computer.
