1. I booked Jaipur - Raipur-Jaipur tkts starting on 14.11.11 by Jet Airways 9W2822 at 1705 hrs.with BOOKING REF 3RL4FA .
I paid thro' internet the demanded amount thro internet transfer which was duly confirmed to me thro' SMS also .
When I presented my self at the airport with this print out at check in counter at about 1600 hrs . - to my utter surprise, I was informed that no booking existed for me on these flights .
I contacted on telephone ,one of your representative ...named Amrit , who after making me hold the phone for about 45 minutes ( yes 45 Minutes !!) , told me that there has been a mistake and I may buy a fresh ticket - a full refund of the amount paid by me will be made and difference of higher fare which may be charged by airlines for new bookings will be paid by 'make my trip' .
When I contacted the jet Airways booking counter at airport , they told me that sale had already been closed and a ticket could not be issued to me
I have been put to great stress and loss by these cancellations . All my schedules have gone awry , my business meetings , travel arrangements (pick up , drops ,accomodations at Indore , Raipur , and other places , had to be cancelled . Besides the direct expenses , I have incurred a great monetary loss by these cancellations of my confirmed bookings .
'Make my trip ' have acted in a most unprofessional and unreliable manner . I demand an explanation as to how this happened and a compensation for all the stress , and loss direct and indirect .
I have been extremely disappointed by such service from MMT .
2. I contacted MMT with above details and I recieved a reply from One Fatema kathawala where in she asuured me that a compensation will be paid to me on sending the new ticket copies & other details .( To quote her .... " With reference to your mail for Booking ID IN1111B07264, we would like to inform you that we need the scanned copy of the new e-ticket, invoive and boarding pass to process the refund. The documents are reqiured, as per the defined process which will help us to identify the refundable amount which was paid against the new e-ticket..." )
I did that promptly
Now after sending numerous e-mails , I am recieving no response . On the other hand , in response to my last mail . dated 22.12 11 , I recive the following reply :
" ... Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
ServiceRN_DL@makemytrip.com
Your message can't be delivered because delivery to this address is restricted. "
It seems that I have ben blocked by their server from recieving messages .
I strongly urge you to kindly take appropriate action to make this agency ..." Make my Trip " to compensate me for all the problems which were caused to me and additional direct & indirect costs . like taxi hire , arrangements for vehicles , accomodation etc. , cancellation /postpone ment of my business engagements , irreaparable damge to my credibility etc.
And last of all .. their most unprofessional attitude of bl;ocking me from contacting them .
