    Default Make My Trip - A cheat company with no customer care

    I had booked four air tickets under an offer by MakeMyTrip that if booked using code VISAMMTDOM and Visa Signature card, the lowest base fare of one of the tickets will be refunded as cash back within 10 days of completion of journey. However, makemytrip did not refund the money and also despite writing several mails, I fail to receive response for any mail from them. I also tried calling the customer helpdesk but the given numbers alwaus route to automated desks and do not connect to any executive. It is almost a month and I have not received any response from them.

    The booking ID numbers of my booked trips are:
    NF2525310671307
    NF2525310671173
    NF2525310671053
    NF2525310670717

    I had posted a message on the site on 28 Nov and I realized that within minutes, it posted a response that they would contact me within 24 hours but nobody ever contacted me till date. Moreover, I realized that it is a standard reply posted by them for all consumer complaints but I wonder if I grievance is ever resolved by them because there is no way to reach out to them and all the mails written to them are invariably not responded.

    A big advise to all friends.. STAY AWAY FROM 'MAKE MY TRIP'

    If you do not hear from us within that time, please write to us at triphelp@makemytrip.com and quote your Booking ID or reference number so we can retrieve details of your reservation promptly.

    With reference to your post above, our representative has contacted you regarding the cashback issue. Kindly note that all the details has been shared with you over the mail/phone and also refund of Rs.2250/- against one of the booking Id NF2525310670717 has been processed from our end. It may get reflected in your account withing 5 working days.

    Thanks if you have processed the cashback and I will confirm if that is really done.

    Regarding the contact by your representative, no body has ever contacted me from Make My Trip and I can assure you that if he/ she is telling you that, that person is lying. If so, please tell him/ her to show the proof of any contact made by him/ her.
