Dear Sir/Madam,
I along with two of my friends have booked a camping&rafting tour at Rishikesh through RoofNRide. The package includes river rafting as main attraction along with other activities and stay of 1 Night and 1 Day including 1 Breakfast+1 Lunch+1 Dinner. We have informed them before that we will be travelling by train to Haridwar and then by public transport to Rishikesh. RoofNRide has confirmed that we will have the river rafting on Saturday(4/June/2011) and so we booked return tickets from Haridwar to Delhi by 19106 which leaves at 3:25 PM on Sunday.

Problem:

We reached Rishikesh camp on Saturday(4/Jun/2011) morning around 8:00 AM. The camp manager informed us that they don't have rafting option on Saturday and their rafting is only on Sunday. We requested them but in vain. Then we told about our ticket and requested them to make sure that our rafting is over by 1:00 PM. So that we can reach Haridwar safely by 2:30-3:00 PM. Our rafting was of 16 Kms which takes around 2 Hrs. The camp manager Mr.Pradeep confirmed that out rafting will finish by 1:00 PM. We reached the rafting spot at 10:30 AM on Sunday(5/JUN/2011). We waited for 1:30 Hrs and then left to Rishikesh without doing rafting at 12:00 PM. We left because if we started rafting even at around 12:15 PM, we will finish it by 2:15 PM and then it was impossible for us to catch the train at 3:25 PM at Hardiwar. After this we requested the camp manager and also RoofNRide to refund partial amount for their negligence, but they have been behaving in a very indecent manner with us and have told that "Do what ever you want to do". We have proof for all the incidents.
