    Default Travel Agency - make my trip

    Dear Sir,
    I had planned for my travel in Nov 2011 and confirmed and payed Rs.5743/-on 18.10.2011 for Fascinating South tour. Since due to my personal resons I have cancelled my tour on the same day evening by email. I had sent tour cancelation to menaka.nair@makemytrip.com and asked for Refund my payemnt Rs.5743/0- but till date no response and no money has been transfer to my account.
    I request you to please help me out to get my money back from Make my trip.

    Dear Prashant,

    With reference to your post above, our representative has contacted you regarding your refund case. Kindly note that at the time of booking it was informed to the you that deposit amount is non refundable incase of canellation.This was mention in the confirmation mail as well.
    However, our representative had a conversation with the hotel,they are not charging the retention charges so we would be processing the refund.

    Your refunded amount will reflect in your account withing 4-5 working days.

    Default Very ba experience with Make My trip

    Hi,
    I am writing this mail after having and going through the most frustrated time ever after booking a hotel through Makemytrip. My hotel booking number is (MakeMyTrip Booking ID is NH251551592870 ), I went to Digha for a two day holiday and makemytrip hassled and harassed me to the point that i could not even enjoy my two day trip.

    I booked a Hotel ( Hotel Sea Coast) Digha through Makemytrip.com and paid Rs.4748 , I checked in to see the room which was small and the Bathroom was dirty and most of the pipes rusty, to top it the commode flush was not working. I had a two year old daughter with me my wife and my brother in law. I called the hotel reception and asked them to show me another room which they did , the room was big but it was dusty and when i checked the bathroom it was in the same state as the last room. The fridge was empty and rusty and seemed it was kept there since the tsunami hit it and washed it back on shore. I was tired and exhausted and after looking at the state of the rooms I just asked them to cancel my booking from the hotel which they accepted yet did try to apologize and try and tell me to stay for 1 day. I disagreed and they gave the voucher that i filled in before checking in and they asked me to write the comments and the reasons why I was canceling my stay with them, which I did.

    Then I was informed I had to call MAKEMYTRIP to cancel my hotel booking too, whch started and has still not ended. I called and was connected to a customer rep who heard me out yet told me I had to stay online as they needed to call the Hotel to confirm what I was saying. The Rep came back online after a 8 minute wait and told me that the Hotel did not agree and were denying the cancellation to which I went WOW! then he told me to go back to the hotel as i told him i had left the hotel to look for something better for my family. He said OK and told me he would call back, which he did and requested me to go back to HOTEL SEA COAST to confirm and try and get something in writing to confirm what I was saying and going through was TRUE. I did , and met an elderly man who said he was the manager of Hotel Sea Coat, he seemed pretty annoyed that i did like the rooms and told me to write any comment and reason of leaving yet i asked him for the main persons name and number who deals with Makemytrip. He gave me Mr. Sayantan Bagg's name and number. I called Mr. Bagg and he listened to what i had to say yet told me to call him back in 5 minutes after which i did couple of times he DID NOT ANSWER. I called Makemytrip back after trying atleast 7 times. I was so annoyed and i handed the phone to my wife and she asked the rep to transfer the call to a supervisor and she was told that all the supervisors were busy after insisting that we would stay online as long as it takes we got a supervisor online after a 16 minute wait named Javed . He asked us to tell him again the complete amazing holiday experience they had helped us with and asked us to do the same thing that i had to go back to the Hotel sea coast and get something in writing which still amazes me. WE BOOKED THE HOTEL THROUGH MAKEMYTRIP YET I WAS ASKED OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO GO BACK TO THE HOTEL WHICH I JUST COULD NOT ADMIT THAT THEIR HOTEL WAS A SUCKER FOR MONEY WITHOUT PORPPER HOTEL AMENITIES AND HYGIENE.

    I called THE AWESOME Makemytrip back and asked to be connected to JAVED and when he came on the phone i explained it to him again that I did not stay in the hotel and the hotel was not something that we paid for, he heard me out and told me to give him some time as he had sent a mail to a Senoir manager and was waiting for reply. I guess he is still waiting for a REPLY, He did tell me he would call back and I am still waiting for a reply. I NEED MY REFUND AS I DID NOT STAY IN THE HOTEL.
