    Angry yatra.com, airline booking

    i have booked 2 tickets for Ahmedabad-Bangluru and Yatra mailed me that i hv got 2 free tickets(with terms n co.)
    i booked the free ticket as par Yatra procedure.
    n i went on my trip.
    just 2 days before the customer executive called me n i told him tht i am not able to hear him properly. bt he cut the phone. out of suspicion, i checked my flight status, n its cancelled by YATRA.
    i calld back to Yatra bt there was no authorized person available to solve my problem.
    i hav to face mental harassment as i am a working person n i have to reach back on time, also my friend, who is travelling with me has a dengue patient at her hom.
    we also had to pay more for our emergency tickets.
    i want hard steps against Yatra n compensation for mental harassment.

    Exclamation Fraud reservation by yatra.com

    I booked a return domestic ticket DEL->LKO->DEL on 29th OCT 10 using yatra.com (it says Flight cost + insurance = Rs. 3322.00)

    I got Confirmed Eticket on mail.

    I called goAir to recheck the PNR numbers i had in the Eticket.

    GoAir said Rs 1400x4=5600 payment pending on these tickets.

    I called Yatra.com and informed about GoAir feedback. They said a customer representative will talk to you in one hours. and never reverted back. flights are scheduled 2nd Nov & 4th Nov and my parents are traveling.

    Still don't know what is status.

    It seems a case of fraud where costumer is attracted with lower flight cost and then Forced to pay additional amounts more than the original booking itself.

    I , SABIHA SULTANA Inform with deep regret and anguish that I am forced to go to consumer court due to
    your lack of proper service. As you are well aware on 26th August 2010. I, had booked a two way ticket
    from Bangalore to Calcutta and back( canceled PNR no. is H7CWDF AND S7D9LE).
    Ever since i Canceled those tickets on 27th August , its been 85 days
    and i have still not got back my money . The bank people are clearly stating that its not their mistake and it
    is an error from your side and completely your responsibility to refund the money.
    I had already sent a warning letter to which i only received a verbal response and no action was taken.
    I am extremely disappointed by your service and assure you that i will go out of my way to insure that your
    reputation is affected and even go to the press and raise a voice against your company. sir please help me i have send this message approx 100 times but no action from yatra... my email- rockonali22@gmail.com

    Default Yatra fraud

    of course when yuo think about it, yatra's business model has to be based on fraud and deceipt! Like most consolidators around the Wolrd, they DO NOT but tickets and hotel room and then try to seel them at a proft. Rather, they take your money first and then look for a deal. And if they cant find a deal? Well tough! Apply for a refund or take your chances by going to the hotel and begging. See my complaint below:

    MY ADVISE: APPROACH THE RESTRICTIVE TRADE PRACTICES COMMISSION OF INDIA AS A GROUP AND SEEK READRESS. INDIA DOES NOT NEED SCAM ARTISITS LIKE YATRA!

    Now On 31St Dec 2010 when I reached hotel (Peterhof Shimla) for check in, Hotel Executive told me that I have to pay another Rs.7200/- (for galla Dinner) as it is mandatory .
    I told them that I have booked room through Yatra.com ,more then a month before. At that time might be you don’t have introduced this package. But they told me that 2 months before they awared yatra.com about this package.

    This is yatra.com fault if they doesn’t told you about this and refuse to check in without paying above said amount.

    Then I call yatra.com 01244983560 ( 31/12/2010->10:56 Am -12.38 (minutes), 11:12 AM- 9.49(minutes), 12:00 noon -12.16(minutes), 12.32pm 6.10(minutes), 12:38pm- 27.59(minutes)) and talked to Raman Deep, Rajneesh. Anshul Jain(Senior Executive) all of them refuse to help me and told me that at the time of booking they were not aware about Hotel Peterhoff Galla Dinner Package now they can’t do anything If I want to Check in the Hotel then I have to Pay the Amount which was demanding by Hotel.

    Then I told him to Cancel My booking and refund my amount then they told I can Only cancel the booking amount will not be refunded.

    This is all happened due to Yatra.com Executives negligence, They didn’t told me about any extra Package in the hotel.
    I reconfirmed several times and everyone told me that I need not to pay naything extra. (Even I wrote a mail but they didn’t respond).

    Now refund all my amount with compensation of all the difficulties which I Faced due to your negligence.
    Otherwise I have to go to consumer court to resolve this issue.

    Yatra Voucher Number: A-138644
    Supplier Ref Number: 123
    Booking Status: Confirmed
    Yatra Voucher Date: 26 NOV 2010

    I made this transaction through phone and made a full payment of RS 3210 through IVR.
    After booking your Executive ensured me that I need not to pay a single penny at the time of check In the hotel .
    To reconfirm this I wrote a mail as below: 12/05/2010 (Sumit.garg@hotdak.net)

    We regret the inconvenience this may have caused to you. The free ticket was under the 3G offer. Our customer relation team have contacted you for the payment of taxes however we did not receive any confirmation for payment from your end and hence we were not in a position to confirm your tickets.

    Default yatra.com cheating customers and not giving buy1 get1 free ticket

    I had booked 5 tickets in yatra.com on 15th March 2011. They had a offer of Buy 1 ticket and get 1 free going on. So i had booked the ticket in the offer.

    In the terms and conditions it was clearly mentioned that the promo code would be sent to you within 48 hours. It has been 25 days and i have not received the same.

    So, i called them today as to what was happening with my promo code. Their Representative "Savita Ranga" tells me that the offer is already over.

    Their offer apparently closed on 25th March. But i booked he tickets on 15th March. SO i am still entitled to th free tickets.

    But according to the representative i should have called if i did not receive the code. no where was it mentioned in the terms and conditions that i have to call them up to receive the code.

    It is the responsibility of yatra.com to fulfill what they have promised the customer. I had booked another ticket in the same off earlier.. Even for that i have not received any code.

    The represenative tells me the system might have been down. How can it be always be down. If you dont want to offer the free tickets then why publiize it on the net.

    I asked Savita Ranga to connect me to someone in the higher authority who could help me out. First she tells me that they will also give you the same answer,i was like let me speak to them, then she tells me they are in a meeting.

    It is shameful A reputed company like yatra.com has such bad customer service. Not only are the reps lying but they are also cheating you. Instead of being helpful, they are blaming you as to why did you not call us earlier.

    Its a disgrace that a company like yatra.com is cheating its customers like this. We should all beware before buying any tickets from this company.

    i hope that my concern is answered, and i get my free tickets as promised.

    I found in the bill sent by ABCC, that your organization had claimed (Vide reference 3rd cited)ted) twice for a journey I made on 3rd September 2011 from here (Hyderabad) and returned on 4th Septefmber 2011 from ChennaI.The same can be verified if required..

    The particulars of my journey to Chennai is given below for your immediate verification:
    Dt of Journey :03/092011 by Spice Jet SG-913 From Hyd to Chennai.
    Dt of Journey :04/092011 by Jet Aiirways Konnect 9W-2364 From Chennai.to Hyd.

    I request you to arrange to be in touch with the concerned ABCC Claimant and get this claim rectified.

    I will be very much thankful to you, in case you arrange to take the trouble of informing the undersigned also.

    I wish to inform you that my reaction to the bill claimed by ABCC is based on my verification of the facts. Hence this delay.

    I am writing this letter based on the suggestion given by the person of ABCC Person-In-Charge.(Vide reference 4th cited).
