I am Prateek Chaturvedi, an employee of TCS eServe. I got a Citi Cash Rewards Credit Card, which provides two airline ticket vouchers, that offer 2 free air tickets (only base fare) if I book any Indigo flight on Flights to India| Cheap Airfare to India| USa to India| New York to Delhi flight Tickets| Discount Flights to India| Fly to India from Houston, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Washington, Los Angeles, Atlanta. My first attempt to avail the offer was somewhere around 13th September. Yatra website says that it would take not more than 48 hrs for their representative to call me back and that my form has been submitted successfully. After waiting for 2 days, I called Yatra customer care on the 3rd or the 4th day asking for the reason for the delay. I was told that my information has not been updated in the database, and I need to resubmit the form. I obliged and submitted the form again. I did this four or five times, when I lost my patience.
Next time when I submitted the form, I asked the representative to check if the database shows my details as soon as i submitted the form. But, the person asked me to call next day to check if my details appear in the database. When I called next day, I was asked to fill in the details again. After 2 days (on 24th Sept), again the same thing happened, although fortunately the lady on the other side told me that there were some issues with the database. So, I filled the form again, and when the representative called me after 2 days (ie on 26th Sept) he told me that there were no discounted seats available in the entire 4-5 days' window when I wished to travel.
Please register my complaint and forward this to higher authorities to take some action against such offers provided by such companies.
